I agree , I switched it up today I hit a relatively cleaner park today with the simplex I slammed a buffalo nickel, and a wicked old gold pendent . They where about 9 inches down ....but I tell you when I was in all that trash I couldn't make heads or talls of anything. All I could do is turn the sensetivaty way down and go slow and would pick up stuff ...but today I was able to get some depth park one up about 5 lines on the sensitivity. It got the job done .

Of course you can't be using a bigger coil on that type of soil littered with iron... different tools for different jobs... But you messed up regarding the 9"x35, you were using a lower frequency and then you said that you could switch the frequency and stuff... but you didn't, and then you proceeded to switch to the 9" hf with a higher frequency...🤦‍♂️ You would have a good response from the 9"x35 running a higher frequency... Btw, EMI affects the depth too...
