The process is converting the image into a halftone screen (using photoshop) although there are many ways to reproduce a realistic photo image, halftone seems to be the most popular. From here, you are doing a simple image transfer onto our photoresist film. We will be teaching this process in our LIVE events in about 3 weeks. Please subscribe to our channel for details. You can watch our past LIVE events on our YourTube channel. KZfaq.com/Sandcarving "Virtual Tradeshow" and or see Rayzist.com for further details.

in coreldraw your black on the screen is a default black, it is usually a dark grey,check the actual color of your art befor printing. Make the adjustment on screen and then print. I hope this is found useful.

Apologize for our delayed reply. You can order the photoresist mask pre-made as a "halftone" image; see, Rayzist.com Custom Mask service for details. You can also make photomasks yourself, see: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nqucpKZyur-mnaM.html Thanks for watching!

hi, how do I get the developer? works with UV light?
@Sandcarving5 жыл бұрын
Adalto Sarraff Thanks for reaching out. The UV light cures the resist film and it’s only pressurized water that develops the resist film. So there is no “developer” other then water.

I have a Chevy S10 pickup and I have it it's an extended cab and the 2 little windows in the back I would like to have my father's face put out one side on the driver side in my mother's face put on the passenger side would I be able to do that on glass on the inside then I am going to get dope windows tinted black so it shows through their face and I would put in loving memory when they were born and when they passed away just like a cemetery marker please comment back and let me know if that can be done this way thank you and please be safe where a Mask
@Sandcarving3 жыл бұрын
All possible... just requires the graphic. Our team and produce the resist mask (stencil) for you; as a "custom mask," you will need to perform the etching or find someone who can. The window would need "tinting" for contrast for a "photo"; but you might double-check with the tinting company if the film can be tinted over an etched surface. Also, suggest you also produce a sample prior to sandblasting onto the vehicle's window, just to be sure your happy. www.rayzist.com/Film/CustomMask.php

am new at this what kind of abrasive do you use with photo resist film
@Sandcarving3 жыл бұрын
@@maremolamola9905 Hello! Thank you for watching. We use and recommend two different mediums. Aluminum Oxide or Silicon Carbide 150 grit/mesh. You can use a slightly smaller grain of media like a 180 grit, but you will get less recycling from the media. I hope this helps. Please see our "Learn Sandcarving" playlist, there is a lot of great information there. Thanks Again!

How to make people photo please
@Sandcarving4 жыл бұрын
Hello Saw Daniel, we seemed to have missed your comment. Halftone is created when you take a photo and convert them into screen patters, some halftone and or dither or another texture or pattern. We have a 2-week segment on photos on our Virtual Tradeshow playlist on our KZfaq channel, KZfaq.com/Sandcarving; please watch these episodes, and in next week's episode, we will cover the creation in more detail using photoshop. Thanks for watching.
