Developing an organizational structure is something that all organizations must do. Organizations do this for the purpose of allowing their employees to perform more effectively and efficiently. In this video, we'll highlight some of the different ways that organizations can group their employees together into logical units. This process is known as departmentalization.

Hi Mr Alanis, This video is the structure of organization structure? I know organization structure is horizontal and vertical, configuration of department. The function, product, and customer is the structure of organization structure? Just wanted to clarify my knowledge.

Adwoa Kwartemaa Hi there! The "structure" of the organization is rather broad and includes a number of different components. Part of it is how employees are grouped together (i.e. functional, product, customer, geographic). It also includes how many levels of management exist and what type of decision-making authority employees possess, which produces a tall or flat structure. So this video is really one component of establishing that organizational structure. Hope this helps.

I think there are 6 types of organizational structure 1 Function 2 Product 3 Customer 4 Geographical 5 Process and finally 6 Matrix desing . I want to get information about Matrix because i have lack of knowledge about Matrix
