Nik Rozman explains how you can develop a Bonsai from Yamadori (collected trees), over the course of several years time. He discusses the collection, aftercare and development to Bonsai.

Very informative how all these interviews show how different bonsai artists use different approaches and techniques. For internet Nik here says he uses only clip and grow for the development of the finer ramifications of deciduous trees while Harry Harrington in his video was saying that he uses a lot of wiring to form and maintain the natural look of his deciduous trees.

Kdaj pa je najbolj primeren čas v letu za izkopavanje in obrezovanje iglavca ter listavca? Ali uporabljaš samo plovec tudi ko je že bonsai v zadnjem finalnem loncu?

Vsak ima z izkopavanjem nekoliko drugačne izkušnje. Jaz imam najboljše rezultate spomladi, ravno, ko se brsti začnejo prebujati. Oblikovanje listavcev svetujem v času, ko nimajo listov (jesen-pomlad) iglavce pa načeloma lahko oblikujemo celo leto. Čisti pumis uporabljam samo pri jamadorijih, dlje kot je drevo v razvoju, večji je delež akadame.

@@marcus7836 pumis je boljši za hitrejšo rast in razvoj. Ko imamo že dobro razvit koreninski sistem, paje boljša akadama, ker tudi, ko razpade ohrani dobre lastnosti za uspešno rast korenin - drugi substrati te izgubijo, ko razpadejo.
