I'm self reliant. Just not so reliant to also take care of my ex, because I already have to take care of my kids. Self reliance only works if you stay single or have a self reliant partner. I'm not ashamed to say my dad helps me out with 400 a month because of my ex. Other women aren't self reliant either. They have a man who gets money in.

The parents arent the ones putting all this mouth in your mouths, you are. What about all the drive through foods you get, the extra large coffees . Your parents didnt do it , you did. Parent blaming is so fashionable these days, instead of trying responsibility for your own food choices , you blame your parents. Its very immature to blame others and not take responsibility for your own food choices and behavior.

Why are people saying "kids"? The students in the film are clearly 17 and 18 year olds, not kids. It's hardly too much to expect them to choose their own electives.

This aversion to accepting help is why America is in the shape it is today. What people really need to learn is how to function as members of a community.

Think about it, a lot of people back then were saved the time it takes to learn these things the hard because of films like this. Incredibly convenient.

This video should be an instruction film for parents, not kids. The parents are the ones who made them co-dependent and then complain and get mad when their co-dependent kid grows up to be co-dependent adults.

#3 is the key "Know where you're going" They ACT as if they know where earth is headed. Destination is unknown, there is no why. They have you chasing, pursuing happiness and happiness comes from within.
