Good morning. Based on model data, tropical storm conditions are possible. Being on the south side of the center (where Trinidad is forecast to be as of now) is better than being on the north side. Details to still work out. -Rusty

It’s looking better and better - perspective of a meteorologist - something to report and excitement. Better to us who live in the Carribean is that is is dying and non forming. Think of the people it affects when what is “better”. Thank you.

It’s two different contexts. You’re applying one term to another. The facts are it is getting better organized, which obviously means a greater concern for all. Never would apply the former to mean the latter. -Rusty

Quote “This is our primary threat and it is looking better and better (I got my hopes up-perspective of someone who lives in Belize) ….possible upgrade to a tropical storm” Thank you for your quick response from someone who can be impacted negatively, compassionate speed of it is looking worse, strengthening, conclusive, intensifying, worrisome - for development- just sharing perspective of using positive words like “better” is not a good word to associate with a storm. Hi, Rusty thankyou 4 the update! Im from Aruba🇦🇼 do you think its possibel when its passing north of us can it leave some moisture behind for Aruba? Or is it passing to far from the island?? every little bit of rain seems to be avoiding us lol

Models have it going north of you, which puts you on the drier side. Best chance scenario is that is south winds pull moisture from South America and moves it over the ABC islands as it tries to wrap onto the low pressure passing north. -Rusty

Hello. It’s way too early to forecast for mid-July as of now. No skill in the models during such a dynamic time of year. For the most part, I don’t go beyond 7 days. -Rusty
