I bought the Dievialet Gemini II two weeks ago. To be honest I never make review about the product that I buy. But I had to for this one. I owned airpods, Bose and some other “premium” brand in the past but to be honest, it can simply not be compared to the Devialet. This product is above in every perspective. The most impressive is the sound’s quality. This thing can bring you some extra clear Infra bass and still perform very well in the medium and the treble . To tell you the truth I even dumped my QC35 since I use them. I didn’t know that earbud could be more satisfying than a full headset The ANC is also very impressive. Especially in the transport. I take the plane very often and I cannot hear anything. Once again, it is above the others brand that I owned. I totally recommend the Gemini II 🙏🙌

I can add a little extra context for these I recently tested the Sony XM5s, AZ-80 Technics, and the Deviate Gemini II's. On repeated listens the gemini’s did beat the AZ80s on clarity and sound separation and had superior ANC. HOWEVER there are some major downsides. They are as follows: 1. In certain songs the gemini ii’s bass, while stronger, can become weirdly muddy and losses its pop where as the AZ80s stay consistent. 2. The fit was not snug for my ear shape meaning that not only did I not feel 100% secure walking around with these, whenever I walked there was a certain amount of noise inside my ear from the earbuds moving around even with the different tip options. This ends up negating part of the benefit of the ANC. 3. If you walk more than 5 feet away from your phone the bluetooth connectivity goes belly up and will instantly start fading out and popping back in. Walk more than 10 feet and they disconnect. This for me is a huge no as part of the appeal of wireless earbuds is being able to step away from my phone or workspace and continue my conversations or listening. I would have happily paid the extra $150 for these had they delivered a big enough bump in quality but all the problems really start to feel like a slap in the face when added onto each other. My personal favorite was the AZ 80.

I have the Gemini 1 and with azla crystals, they sound incredible...they also go from 100% to 0 in under an hour

The earbuds should be worth about )$200. That extra $250 is for the brand name. It's a niche product

Viper on Android warms up the low frequencies in these headphones so much that your head starts to shake😁 Over a wireless connection, I think this is the best thing I've heard.

How is the ANC compared to the Xm5s and the Bose QC ultra?

I can't afford that much for earbuds, considering the non-replaceable battery won't have a longer shelf life than sub-$100 earbuds.

For that price Bose QC2 and airpod pro2 is good enough for me 😂

The gen 1 was a disaster. The blue tooth connectivity was non-existent. Do those pair well and stay connected?

Are there any known QC problems with this second generation? I was using first generation and while they were superb pair of TWS while they were working, technical problems withe them were real pain in the ... From three pairs I was able to get only one which was working. One had faulty right earpiece, second was not able to pair. My pair unfortunately stopped working after one year. Right earpiece battery problem. Devialet send me replacement which was DOA - right earpiece battery problem. Again. 😁

I have bought the silver set. And I've experienced all of a sudden no sound came out from either buds or on both buds. Sound simply just resume once I had the bud outcof my ear and putting back in my ears. I dun even need to place it back into the case.... Devialet replaced one time for me and it still occurs. Called up Devialet and they suggested turning off smartpause or change to a smaller eartip. But this issue still occurs. Not only during commute but also at home. Pretty sure it is not smartpause cos video still plays but no sound. Same thing, sound resumes after taking from ear and putting back in ear. Called up Devialet and was told to change again. This time I changed to the Opera de Paris but clsame issue and..... Feedback to Devialet and they are liaising with me on my usage experience to assist in their investigation. Seems most likely this is a software issue. Wondering if anyone out there facing the same issue as me? 3 sets I've got and same issue occurs. Let me know if anyone faces the same problem I'm encountering.

I used a lot of Earbuds and i truly mean a lot i mean you name it i used that thing 90 % and i am ready to yell my heart out thay Devialet created a peice of art for the sound lover. These things smoke the Sonys bose Jabra's Sennheiser Marshalls etc.

Hi Aron Have you notice any issues on your Sony WH 1000XM5 atter te version 2.0.2 ? I think mine XM5 lack a little bit NC in the mids og highs, i hadn't notice before this update. Antother ting i have notice is lack of atomaticly pause music when take dem om. Just playing like before. Same with automatilcy power off after serverel minutes, so do always turn power off when i put them in a case to bee safe. How you could test out this thing in å video 😊 Hi From Michael

According to the website, there is the possiblity to manage the volume from the earburds... but the "noise cancelling" OR "transparancy", this is sad they didnt make it as last year : (strong, medium, light ANC, none, transparancy) and eventually they could add : adaptative ANC

Hello Aaron I just read Apple Newsroom about upgraded AirPods Pro 2 with USB C case, seems that they’ve upgraded them with lossles audio 20 bits 48Khz (USB C version only despite same H2 chip) and IP54 rating on the case and the earbuds themselves. Really strange that AirPods Pro 2 lightning will not support Lossless Audio, they also say that is enabled by breakthrough wireless communication, does it mean it not Bluetooth anymore when paired with vision pro and with UWB instead, curious to have your take on this. Curious since they have maybe new hardware if ANC performance is the same. Thanks

I don't think any true wireless earbuds are worth that price. You're going to be in a landfill in a few years. Hell I think you'd be much better off getting like 3 or 4 $80 pairs... To extend battery life and give you a backup pair in case there's any issues. Or just to add some variety. And you would still have like at least $130 left over in your budget under that proposal. I mean I can't even begin to guess what the profit margins are for this. Probably cost them less than $50 a pair to produce these. That doesn't factor in r&d of course but still...

With earbuds like the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC and Tozo Nc7 2022 under $100, it's really, but really hard to justify this kind of $450 earbuds.

These microphones are utterly bad. If I wouldnt know the price tag, I had a guess on 100 dollar budget in ears (they also look not premium).

The design of these earbuds certainly doesn't look like $450.00 wireless buds! These have that very generic plasticky design to them.
