In fact, I'd complete DMC2 100% to showcase how broken it is, so fuck you. Post-Statement: DMC3 is the best out of this franchise like DMC5, and it's trophies are hellish(especially DMC3 Vanilla's NA version).

Just got the final DMC2 achievement myself from the HD trilogy. And not only that, I did all 90 secret missions, beat must die with both Dante and Lucia and went all the way to lvl 9999 in bloody palace, since why not when I first was past 9000. Screw getting all S ranks though, I might be a masochist, but that seems like another level of hating oneself.

@bok4822 If you use the infinite dt code, getting all the s ranks should be much easier. Trying to s rank the game without it is mental suicide.

Yeah, PlayStation has no such luxury although I think the game is perfectly fine to not play ever again under no circumstances 😁

DMC 3? I’ve had the plat done for a while now and have started the editing process. It was tough but I only played easy mode when I played as Virgil which was insanely easy naturally. 😂 Great game though.

I’m still trying to get 4 as of right now but I am kind of looking forward to seeing DMC: Devil May Cry. Is it that easy? Or do you mean it’s better than this game?

DMC 3 gameplay is god-tier so I should have a good bit of fun playing it then.

Man, I went straight to DMC 3 after this. Got that plat a few weeks ago and need to edit that video which I have started but DMC 4 is killing me right now i can’t lie. 😂

I have been really enjoying my time with the series so far, I’m on DMC 4 s ranks right now on DMD mode and some of them are an absolute nightmare but I am loving the games. 😁

@@RadTuba03 ah yes. I’d strongly recommend looking up some of the tricks people have used for DMD (Also recommend running past the Blitz fight at the start of mission 13. He’s incredibly annoying and with Echidna as a boss at the end, you shouldn’t have too much trouble getting style points) Also, in case yo I didn’t know (because I didn’t know this when I went for the platinum), the total orbs collected are only calculated from the rooms you visit in the mission. The seats in the castle main hall have a large percentage of orbs, but if you hypothetically never visited that room, those orbs aren’t counted in your total percentage gathered. So don’t feel like you need to go out of your way to rooms you don’t need to go to.

@DrRichardzz oh right didn’t know that about orbs. Just got the s ranks on mission 13 & 14 yesterday, was pulling my hair out to say the least 😂 will make for some funny parts in the video though

@@RadTuba03 Oh! One more important thing! Little secret about that dice game: the number is randomised if you shoot the dice, but if you strike it with your sword, you will get the number that was facing up before you hit it. This is how you control that dice game and eliminate the RNG.

I think you have to beat both Dante and Lucia’s hard mode to unlock Dante Must Die but check around just in case I’m wrong. 💪

You only unlock other difficulties (which are harder) after beating that game so unfortunately you’re stuck on that difficulty, you’ll get it though. These games are meant to challenge you so that when you do beat it it is much more satisfying. 💪

@@RadTuba03 i get it, i mean i was achievement hunting in Atomic heart and in Dying light 2 (don't have it for 2 because achievements were bugged at that time) and it had me seething at some points too, so in some ways we're all a little masochistic

@SmenDeSmen Yeah I had dying light 2 at launch and tried getting all the trophies but I had my save get corrupted and one had no audio and I didn’t unlock one of the story trophies for some reason so I really cannot be asked to do it anytime soon

Thankfully DMC 3 slapped so the series didn’t die with 2

@@RadTuba03 yea Itsuno didn't want to be known as "the guy who did dmc2" even though he only hopped on at the end to save ship, and that eventually led us to getting 2 of the greatest games ever made dmc3 and 5, capcom fucked him over with dmc4 and dragons dogma by giving them rushed budgets and short deadlines, rip.

@dm8in oh yeah I watched a video explaining DMC 2’s development issues that spoke about that. Dragons dogma is another game I’d like to play eventually considering Dragons dogma 2 is around the corner now

@dm8in DMC 4 is a strange one for me right now, I like it more than 1 and 2 but less than 3

Compared to the others, it is ass. Story = ass Gameplay - boring. It’s not very fun at all

I personally think it’s a bad game overall even if it wasn’t a DMC game because the gameplay is soooo boring
