oops, I forgot one, is about using jump as evade from enemy attacks, then use the "release" on royal guard, because there's a short invulnerability, so counter with "release" during this short invulverability while evading thru jumping or sideroll is not a problem, damn, how could I forget that! like 6:50 for example.

I think everybody already knew these: • Once you've had Vergil in M19 boss. Pressing start in the player 2 controller will let that dude play as Vergil freely. By then, pressing ⭕️ on P1 controller (Dante) will have no use since it is initially a command to call Vergil. • Another is the infinite Doppelganger trick. Activate Doppelganger, keep holding R1, then press ⭕️ again. The DT bar will stop depleting and you get to keep the clone in the field as long as you never let go of R1. (Its will only use the arm and gun you held upon summoning. It will not switch its weapons along with Dante.)

Nah man for real I just got the game and I’ve been replaying the start for practice because I can’t find my fucking SD card and I want to find out what styles and equipment I’m going to use before sinking red orbs and time into them on my save file, so these guides and tricks are really helpful. Maybe next time I start it up I’ll get through Cerberus first try 😅

Some other facts: -With Gunslinger equipped and E&I you can alternate between normal shots and Twosome Time shots for a very high rate of fire. To do it you need to alternate between the shoot and style buttons fast. -You can use Royal Guard on the hand that comes out of the door and on the rotating blades you encounter in certain missions. Useful for increaing the meter before a hard fight. -Nevan's melee attacks all end with you in the Tune Up stance, meaning that you can immediately follow up those moves with a Nevan combo. -You can quickly fire two normal Artemis shots while in GS. You have to shoot with the style button first and then with the normal shoot button, doesn't work the other way around. -You can reset the Pride guard stance by turning your back and then facing them again.

I just started playing DMC saga a few months ago. Played a little bit from DMC1 but Then I decided to start from 3 Then go 1->4->5. Anyway, once I was able to play DMC3 I totally fell in love. It took me around 2 months tonfinish it on normal difficulty and it was a total pain, every boss took me more than 1 hour of trial & mistake to beat em, and everytime I defeated them I feel very satisfied and wanted Even more!!!. Currently I'm trying to get The platinum trophy and all of this techniques and tricks comes at handy, most of them I never noticed! Plus You make the videos pretty fun to watch, so what I mean is thank you very much!

For years I defeated the megapede with Cerberus by riding on its back and deflecting the purple balls with combo 2. Never knew you can hang on it with cerberus.

Some really interesting stuff in here. I imagine using Doppelganger on the crystals would be really helpful for S Rank Runs if they're availalble. That pretty much guarantees S Rank for Orbs in the ranking

I noticed a theme in the games… DMC 1: (Movie Action lmao) Heritage DMC3: Family DMC4: Love DMC5: Heritage of the present Generation Also I Love how much of a nerd you are at this game. I LOVED EVERY SECOND. Watching all the dialogue you put and reading it with iconic quotes and cutscenes and music. IT WAS ALL TOO EPIC! I know new tricks now that I’ll be trying out :)

It's not a glitch, it's called Ultimate Tempest and it's a real mechanic.

Why use Nevan and shoot trick when you can just fly :) Anyway, nice video. Can you give a list of enemies/boss weakness? Also, maybe you knew about it but forgot to mention, I think you could have include the kick at 12:51. To perform it, equip Rebellion or Force edge, have your back toward an enemy and press attack when it come close

I missed it on the last video, so I added here, and thanks, I will try add it when I have time. About the kick, is not absolute. Sometimes it kicks, sometimes it doesn't, so it's pointless to bring it up.

@@rapidaceful I just notice that if you use dmc1 Dante skin, then his devil trigger will always have the effect of Rebellion, even using others During the fight against Lady, you can deflect her shoot by shooting (and maybe some other attack, I used sword pierce since it is the easiest attack to perform and work very well) When immobilized (ex by spider's web), you can mass movement to break free from them. However it doesn't always work and I don't know which command to break free, since I just randomly mass the movement (maybe you can find out) boss Vergil devil trigger can be ended earlier if you deal enough damage. His round trip attack can be deflected by shooting or easier using sword pierce. During his "mad helm breaker spam", if you "interrupt" him enough (by keep fighting him), then he will instead fighting like a "normal devil trigger" phase. ... Looking forward for your new video. If you make another video about dmc3, hope this will help

@@vaninhhuu3215 I think everyone who often play the games knows them already, for example my first upload of battling with vergil using quicksilver, his devil trigger is worned off on 2 attacks instead of 3, because the 1st attack is a "charged, straight". thanks for writing anyway. 😅

For the doppleganger i like to use rebellion with swordmaster and spam circle when he launches that orb at you. This and spamming circle at the lights is an extremely fast way to cheese the fight

If you play with freestyle you can turn one the most annoying bosses in the game into a joke by useing sword master on cerberes and use trickster too dash too the next light

also wrong about the royalguard, some attacks from normal enemies will not be guardable with regular guard, off the top of my head - the dust breath guys (crush) - hell wrath (unblockable) - the coffin guys (crush) - fallen's thrust (crush) and bomb attack (unblockable) all of these can be royalguarded

@@rapidaceful The "Distortion" bug is something that is used a lot in DMC 4 (with Dante and Vergil), and it also exists in DMC 1. Basically when hitting a specific frame activating the Devil Trigger while attacking, the game will have a slight "distortion" in the animation, and so the attack will do more damage. In DMC 4 this happens with Dante using Gilgamesh, and Vergil using Bewoulf. See this video for example: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l698ebV7rd3KeoE.html
