it turned all the redqueen demonic blade effects to realistic flame bursts , and thats a great improvement also notice the body language , on the demon/prosthetic arm The prosthetic arm is held mostly at stomach level as if he needs to protect it , and the demonic arm he would flail around confidently, Knowing the mechanics behind the prosthetic arms , it makes so much more sense Its the little details man , i love it

fun fact in DMC4 According to the Devil May Cry 4: Deadly Fortune novel, both Red Queen and Blue Rose melted away while Nero was trapped in the Savior's core. Because of that, he fought Sanctus using only the Yamato and Devil Bringer.

I love the dmc4 aesthetic with the comic book effects and his catch phrases sound more passionate too. So good!

His yells and battle screams are better in DMC4. I love it so much when he yells "SLAM DUNK" or "CATCH THIS" when he busters an enemy.

The way Nero flails his other hand around and uses alot of the momentum of the blade reminds me of Artorias from Dark Souls so much

Visually I think Nero is demonstrating much more power in DMC4, but is leaving a more visable impact on the environment in DMCV. I like that suddle difference

結構4派の人多いですね！ 確かに4の方がスマートながらも派手な印象ですが、5の少し落ち着いた感じめちやくちゃ好きです

so Red Queen Combo B in 5 compare to 4 show that Nero is really stronger than in four and proficient in one handed too(in 4 he use his devil bringer backup his left arm so he can do more)

Dmc 4 has the more flashy effects just because the anime style and 5 was more focused on realism, but 5's nero has so much more character in his animation and voice acting, also like obviously strong but a little sloppy compared to someone like dante and especially vergil, which i personally like because his combos just look so bad ass when youre hitting all those exceeds and he's just being thrown around by the power in all his attacks which gives him such a cool feeling

It's like hes trying to break his sword with how many times he slams it against the ground

I prefer Nero's kit in 5 overall like hes just way more fun to play in 5 but the sound effects in 4 Are honestly better.

I love How use their Sword in different way Vergil as a Samurai, Dante as a Knight then here's Nero smashing his sword on ground too angry to kill

I prefer DMC4 Nero by a wide margin in spite of having less options. His attacks just in general FEEL like I'm swinging around something heavy. Blue Rose charge shot is also hella satisfying with the cannon sound effect versus the laser sounding one.

in dmc6 nero should totally summon like a spectral guitar for his air guitar taunt to the same style as vergil's (and his own) summoned swords and his wings

4のブルーローズリボルバーなのに連射が早すぎて違和感あったけど、5の方は銃らしく反動がついてて違和感が無くなった

I love how there are moments in the taunts where Johnny Yong Bosch's voice slips out of Nero and into Adachi.

I like that the revolver recoils after a shot giving more of a punch and that the revolver actually does more damage than 4 when charged up 5 wins the best in the series because of best gameplay good controls not nearly the level of storytelling in 3 but everything else helps 5 succeed pass 3 and it has a better story and mechanics than 4

Sword swings feel weaker in DMC5 when you're just swinging in the air, but if you actually hit an enemy the sword feels a lot meatier and stronger.

Keep in mind Dmc 4 is 10 years old and still🤩🤩

Overall 5 is, and looks way better to me. But 4 holds up pretty well.

the 2 things is miss the most from the 4 are: -the buster's basic animation: less frames, way more weight when smashing the enemy against the ground -the amazing reddish palette of the exceed's fire

I love both games tho I prefer 5, but i always preferred the way million stab looks in 4, and also how nero holds his gun when just aiming, it looks more stylish, like a jojo pose xD.

I still find it neat that Nero’s weapons and attacks are just gambling terms. Except for a few.

I really like that they removed the white trail effect to nero's attacks that would look pretty bad on the new style of graphics

So In the next game I think there's two things they could go with for giving him more depth without overcomplicating his core mechanics to much 1 is pretty simple allow for the devil breakers to be interchangeable they could work same as Dante styles and be inputted on the d pad they would still work the same; explode on there charge move and damage and you would double tap to get to 4 to 8. Something a little more interesting to me though would be to have his exceed charge mechanic have 3 elemental effects instead of just one (fire) something like Ice and electric where electric exceed moves are lightning quick and leave that trail of static behind like Trish in 4 did, ICE could be area of effect like with moves damaging enemies all around Nero and even could have after blast effect that gave it distance to while fire would be the strongest and kept the same you would be able to switch between them and all moves would only cost 1 exceed thing to promote variety. You could even take it a step further and have his gun be effected to electric would shoot a status ball like Dante does on that one cerberus move , ice would be arching ice blast with a large area of effect and fire would be that explosion mechanic the gun did in 5. I think that would be a cool way to expand on Nero depth without having To add an extra weapon or two

Oh no I think I like dmc4 neros look better but I totally understand that costume and body model design wouldn't of worked with the realism part of dmc5 so that's ok but to have the hair and coat as a unlockable costume or maybe in the special edition coming out that would be great

For some reason dmc 4 nero sword attacks look so heavy, like half of it is strength, half draging himself after the blade.

DMC 5 has quicker sword attacka, but DMC 4 has quicker firing rate.
