I already knew that he made the ground red, but I never noticed that the spikes can't rise from the grass, this is a really cool detail

This whole time I thought it was just "Eating the fruit gave me the ability to do sick backflips, Dante. I bet you can't do that."

Also, what's interesting about this boss, is that Urizen 3 is supposed to be the ultimate Vergil's demon form, however, some of his attacks are the most human moves ever. Football-like kicks, uppercuts, backflips, basic punches. That's not the fighting style you expect from a pure devil that "has no recollection".

I'm proud to say I knew this from just watching gameplay footages before I even got the game for myself. I used this understanding on my first playthrough and just stood on the grass whenever I knew he was about to do it.

You're on fire with these deep dives! You know, this reminds me of a running "joke" I have with my best friend. Silent Hill 2, even after two decades, is one of those games from which I somehow learn something new at least every year. Every element of that game is saturated with the love, respect, and enthusiasm of the team that made it. Devil May Cry 5 was exactly the same. It's rare to see that in big-name games these days, and I'm always delighted when I get to experience something with so much depth beneath the surface. Another killer video, Lucid. I love that you're giving these details their own little analyses now.

I never noticed that, the truth is that in every fight against Urizen he always used the cavaliere movement that raises you as high as possible and activated the sdt and finito, but it is a very interesting fact

This is amazing, that attack always felt weirdly hard to avoid, but it turns out I was ignoramt of a whole environmental mechanic! I knew this game was worth the money but never thought it would keep me picking my jaw off the floor for this long

Unfortunately I learned about this from guides when I was trying to learn how to effectively fight him as DTless(and no Air Hike) Nero in BP. Lvl3 High Roller + air taunts with Gerbera - out of range of ultimate attack. But don't let that distract you from the fact his Phase 2 is simply countered by Nero's walking speed while aiming - all you need to do is just walk in one direction (or forward and backwards when geyser attack comes)
