Good stuff! I've seen a lot of speedruns of the game so it's interesting to see how your strats differ from those, it made for some good fights! Also yeah, "Nero Angelo" means "Black Angel" in Italian, and Nelo Angelo is a typical mistranslation from Japanese, but it became so well-known they never fixed it.

ACKTUALLY apparently the ps2 version of dmc1 has weird control mapping in the NA/EU for some reason. JP controls are the "normal" controls. idk why they did this

@@imontheedgeofmyseaton Hard or DMD, there's another fight with Phantom that's in the area where you first encounter the Shadow (or Death Scissor on higher difficulties) that actually has his AI from the last fight with the thing

I absolutely love how Kamiya designed the difficulty modes in DMC and Bayonetta. Each difficulty makes the games completely different and you'll feel like you're experiencing the games for the first time again

wow you even did the nero angelo fights without doing the alastor combo infinite where you do a circle motion after the first two strikes that cancels enough end lag to let you just do the same two slashes that completely cheeses nero cuz he's completely stun locked

Really glad you did this game! Good luck if you try the other DMCs, but I think with a very notable exception in 3 they'll be easier to no damage than this one. 4 imo is the easiest game in the series.

Personally I think 2 is the easiest because you can cheese every boss with E&I spam it's insane

@@alicemargatroid52It actually would probably be harder to no damage 2 than 4 or 5, DMC2 can be kind of bullshit with getting clipped by random hits for no reason and DMD Trismagia is actually one of the hardest bosses in the series and he’s an absolute nightmare to no damage, probably the hardest boss to no damage in the series. I also think DMC4 is an easier game than DMC2 in general as well but not by very much.

I really dislike mundus, most people think he is fine but I dislike all his phases. The space one is tedious to me and not all that engaging of a gimmick, the lava one is so annoying due to the arena, and the last one is piss easy.

Completely agreed I honestly would've preferred Nightmare as the final boss.
