If anything, I'd say its more like a Dante Trigger. What with the white hair and red coat, which is a shame. Because they had a chance to do something cool, with the angel and demon thing - which is not what nephilim is 🤦- but instead opted to be lazy and go for half-baked look. Thinking it would please the fans, unhappy with the lame design, given he looks like a shite John McClane in skinny jeans and a trenchcoat.

@@DemonDethchase Honestly i would love an angelic DT for Reboot Dante with devilish undertones. Though it really surprised me considering the game had a solid art direction but i guess character designs wasn't a strong suite

Do you mean the original 2D games? Because DMC2 and Prince of Persia the Sands of Time were both released in 2003, and DMC2 was even released months before.

As much as I absolutely love DMC5, Devil May Cry 4 easily has the best sound design. Everything sounds so sharp and impactful.

DmC ain't that bad, sure Dante is a jackass and the humor is not up there but the art direction and gameplay is solid. DmC: Definitive Edition fixes a lot of the game's problems, color coded enemies and adding lock-on, too bad it's not on PC but still this game is pretty solid, it doesn't deserve to stand next to DMC 2 when it comes to quality

The traditional round trip is only on Rebellion and Sparda with back+swordmaster. DSD instead has Round Trips when you hold down the swordmaster button, which are sent out independently
