The first Devil May Cry is certainly unique. After starting out as a Resident Evil title, it ended up taking plenty of cues from that series, while creating something entirely unique at the same time. It offers a unique blend of ambient horror with over-the-top action that comes straight from the early 2000s. Devil May Cry has come a long way since this first entry, but let's take a look back at where it all started.
