Devil's Backbone Trail to Mt. Baldy Peak | Humble Hiker

Mt. Baldy also known as San Antonio peak at over 10,000 feet. The trail head for this hike starts near Manker Flats Campground. The trail will lead to San Antonio Water Falls after 1 mile. After 3 miles, you will reach the Top of the Notch Restaurant. From here, you will begin your ascend via the Devil's Backbone Trail. This is not for the faint of heart, some sections of this trail has steep drop offs on both side. As long as you stay on the trail and be aware of your surroundings you will be fine. The last mile is the most difficult part of this hike due to the steepness. Once you reach the top, you are rewarded with amazing views of the inland empire and surrounding mountains.
