I recently learned about Devilish Trio...I'm from Orlando, grew up listening to three six and all that....Ive listened to the new phonk stuff like Baker but mostly instrumental...Devilish Trio has deep lyricism though that fits the beat perfectly

@@Ayare4 Simply put, selfishness. He basically ghosted them when they were on the cusp of greatness. Hydra and Tenngage have tried to make new music with just them two but it doesn't have nearly the same message/feeling to it. Half of the songs have been sneak disses at baker so they won't put the music first and that's why they'll fail post baker.

@@RelativePerformance6799 they ain't a trio anymore, baker went on to do his own music and hydra and tengage are still making music together, but it ain't the same sound of the trio, i hope one day they get back together

The rhythmic drone of the lyrics is just crazy. Someone that said it's like another instrument is so spot on. They could be reading from a recipe book and it would still be fire. So hard to find music like this. Most phonk lyricists sound like a bunch of little whiney teenagers trying to sound hard.
