@@dalaxdercrisper957 Jo's breaking the 4th wall, Kiryu isn't as he's presumably referring to the So Amon battle in Y0 set in 1988 ie almost 20 years ago. If he was also breaking the 4th wall it would only have been 10/11 years based on the gap between Yakuza and Kiwami.

It's not an opinion. If fighting Amon and playing Mahjong were both skill-based challenges, then I could have an opinion on which I considered to be the most challenging of the two. But since one requires skill and the other luck, they don't belong in the same category. You need to know what you're doing to beat Amon. And if you do, taking him down without taking any damage is a cakewalk. With Mahjong, on the other hand, even if you know the game well and know exactly which hands to go for, the end result is completely random. And random outcomes will always be more difficult to predict than if you're completely in charge of the outcome yourself. So if you know what you're doing, Amon is much easier, because you actually have a chance to always beat him.

Well, according to Yakuza 0 (spoilers if you haven't played) after Majima beats Amon, Amon mentions that someone else would suffer in Majima's place 17 years later, that someone no doubt being Kiryu.

It took me only 2 tries, 2 sacrifice stones, almost an entire inventory of Staminan Royals, 2 Staminan Sparks and I still think it's one of the worst boss fight I've ever done in any video game

Idk if it's because I watched that video before but i manage to beat him in my first try. It never happen to me in other Amon fight. I at least die a couple of time.

the phirst phase is very hard as well without tiger drop .. the combo must be aligned to his back with precision, because amon has a tendency to move during the moviments and the camera suck.. a small mistake and he will throw you the grenades o kick your ass..

Deicide86 Agreed. His first phase was going to be so hard if weren't for the tiger drop. It's almost as if every Amon fight requires counters(Tiger Drop) to win. Fighting normally is extremely hard

yeah, i enjoyed the video because defeating amon without take damage is really great ( tiger drop requires timing and the second phase is a shit) then compared to jimmyqballs for example he has changed slightly with some heat action with dragon style and weapons, making the video good to watch for everyone, imho.
