look how many times this guy is trying to parry Brians attacks. Without the parry and the hellsweep, Jin players are garbage. Look at 1:05, seven feet away and still tries to parry... fff...

Parry is super risky (but rewarding) and hellsweep is slow and painfully minus on block (also rewarding) and its shocking to see how you are talking out of your ass, both moves don't define Jin as a whole and you should put that in your mind
