The melodic drop is pretty cool with the little kicks breaks in between the melody but the mid-intro is waaaaay too distorted and earrapy.

who the fvck came up with the idea of that u need to change up drums as many times as possible, stick to the one, stick to it as close, change it up like before, but dont deviate too much, this isnt happening. This is like incredible but for wrong reasons. Hate this trend so much, so so much. With my whole heart passionately. This new shi.t is just shi.t. Fell in love with HS in 2006-7 around this. It kept changing, but it was still HS, this is an abomination. Hate it. I know that itll will evolve again, a new breed, but i hope itll build on this and the greatness of old and make something special. This is not that. At least i still have the good old stuff that is timeless, not like this one. Im sorry Devin, i bet u can do better then this.

Well, i get what you mean here. But this is just his way of creating a creative track. The switches give the producers a new challenge, if you just have some kickrolls as variations will get boring. At least i think thats why producers are making these switches with a lot of sound design in it. I myself produce since 2016, and yea, if i only stick to melody and kickrokls, i eventually get stuck behind the "it needs to be oldschool to be cool" mindset. Wich is not a way to show what you are capable of, cuz at the end, the producer is the one that made 1000 tracks. Not every track can please everyone, remember thats just the way it is.

@@mennobroos1689 just listened to the new Nightcraft and Unresolved i guess track and (im not sure if Unresolved is the right artist name, sorry) let me tell u that thats the right way to make a cool new song without going too oldschool and doing what u discribed its fresh yet reminescent of old good stuff. Got good melody great drums and also the switch ups are done tastefully, its not like going from low to very high and back over, its only slightly up and down action and its just awesome. I know that (if u produce) producers needs to create, to be creative, but something that isnt broken doesnt need fixing, just cause its old, it need sprucing up, it needs a tlc, but it doesnt need to reinvent the wheel. Also i get that not all will like it or vice versa, its just hte way it is. Trust me im not against those who like this crap, if they like ever changing drums well be my guest and enjoy. I hate it, as Nightcraft showed in Lost and Hideaway, it can be done so that its as modern as it should be and still true to the essence of the real hardstyle. The wheel is not reinvented its just upgraded and it sounds phenomenal. In my opinion. But again as u said, many people have diff. tastes and producers cant accomodate everyone
