4:01 "this is probably boring to you guys". LOL. Devin, we have been wanting the 101 on the BASIC methodology you go through your assembly for the last 5 years. We still don't have some of the specifics many people talk about in forums, Facebook groups, and general KZfaq theories people put out just from simply observing your videos minute after minute, hour after hour, over and over and over again (like me) to find out exactly how you hold the Glidecam, What your ratio is for Top to Bottom weight, Telescoping Pole extension (shaft), the mechanics of how you hold the Glidecam and operate it with two hands when moving up and down, left right, walking running, and when you're creating axis moves (low to high, high to low). This is NOT boring. Please feel free to give us as much "boring" stuff as you'd like. I do not believe anyone will complain =). Keep up the good work Devin!

also... practice, practice, practice.. when I got my glidecam 3 years ago I was sooo discouraged cause I was getting semi smooth shots and not fully gliding shots. It takes time to get used to it, now I have no problems cause I use it almost every day

Literally the best Glidecam on the market to date. The Manfrotto 577 QR plate AS the platform itself, with just the two fine adjustment knobs and no locks to fiddle with is FANTASTIC for anyone who's actually going out and USING these things daily (Real Estate guys you know EXACTLY what I mean!), and is personally worth the price right there for me *personally*. Also along with the weather sealed bearings and legitimate beastly build quality, I find it worth it for a product made in the U.S. and specialized a bit from the other models. I think one of those weekend-only sales though where they drop the price a good chunk would sell enough to be worth the weekend-sale itself (like what they did with the BMPCC).

+DevinGraham This is definitely an amazing improvement to the HD series. I started using the HD-2000 and have done for8 about just over 2 years with the 5D Mark III and Rode Mic Pro when I saw your earlier videos like the paintballing with vehicles and music videos with Lindsey Stirling. Such a great tool for many kinds of shots as one single piece of equipment! It's especially useful as you don't need anything other than this if you want to travel really lightweight so this is why your filmmaking style got me inspired to work on more video projects as I was previously put off from all the bags and boxes. So I also rely on just mostly a backpack and few bags when going out places far from accessible by car. I'm definitely going to get one of these Devin Graham Signature Series very soon. They look fantastic!

799 USD, but here 900 EUR. We always get screwed over here in Europe. Another example... Olympus 75mm f/1.8, right? 699 USD, but over here 949 EUR! And that all the while the conversion is about 1:1.12 in favor of the Euro. Does seem like a very nice one to get and grow with, especially since it can handle such loads. And. It doesn't require batteries. I'd still be interested in a nice pistol grip gimbal stabilizer for some light setups though.

Devin, would you recommend more weight or less weight? because I can balance it with a 2 second drop time easily, it's just whether its justified to carry more weight and have less of a holding time.

Do love the look of this new model. It's a shame that it's best part of £700 here in the UK. In America it's $799 so should be around £550 in the UK. I'd definitely buy one at that price but not at nearly 100% more than the HD4000.

Can you do a bts when shooting with a Gopro?

I threw a red epic on my 4000 last week. Way too heavy though. Had the battery pack on back and a larger lens so I took it off and used a different camera instead. It gets heavy with all that weight.
