Devon is a beast, as expected, but Georgi strong af. Look how hard it was for Devon to try to gain hand control on georgi once he started losing his wrist. Georgi did better than Denis imo. But Devon’s kings move and endurance were too much ofc. I still fear it won’t be enough for Levan, georgi is like a nerfed Levan but Levan way bigger, wayyy stronger, and wayyy more explosive and aggressive AND can go in a hook if needed too..

Devon is the perfect combination of putting on a show while being a class act respectful guy. Respect for his passion to the sport.

It is quite clear that Devon used this as a training match to test his ability and endurance to hold Georgi in preparation for Levan, not that Georgi is in anyway comparable. It’s just that he’s the closest, size wise.

Phil is such a great ref. Pretty even starts every round here. He doesn’t take any shit from any competitor, doesn’t respond to any goad just keeps his cool and gets them set.

Devon is really strong right now. He was terrifying in his sheer strength. While Georgi used all his strength to move his arms, Devon never once got close to the pin. Devon was stronger. 115kg., when he first joined EvsW.

Devon has never been so menacing. This is the true prime Devon. He could scare a devil. That stare, that confidence, that devilish laugh, everything is menacing. And the end of first round? Georgi already lost, but Devon gave him another chance, and when Georgi again started gaining position, then he finisshed him off.

Devon's pronator is absolutely insane!! I gotta be honest.... He's significantly more dialed in now than when he pulled Levan! Not sure if it'll be enough to beat him (Levan). But I'm willing to bet that Levan won't get out of the match without losing a round.

Win or lose, Devon is my all time favorite.

Devon drops into that outside defensive toproll (defensive King's Move) every time Georgi surges. Brilliant defense and a great way of burning out your opponent. Devon almost NEVER gives up his pronation in any position. Watch as he goes to the outside right corner of his elbow pad and sits down on the INSIDE of his elbow.That's the key to the outside toproll. This elbow position gives you maximum leverage for pronation. I'll be covering this in depth in a future video.

When I see this match I really think devon has a chance against levan. Yeah, georgi might not be as strong as levan but I think he is close to levan, his wrist, his toproll are amazing. Remember levan is out for a year now and we know both devon and georgi has improved alot, who knows maybe georgi is as strong as levan or he may not be but all I know is that devon really has a chance this time.
