Hi, thank you for the video! I'd have one comment which might be constructive: It might have been on purpose but during the presentation of VSM, I think too much emphasis was given on the SDLC pieces of the Value Stream. Though you're focusing on DevOps, it's important to emphasise to practitioners the need to map business processes too (how do we get those requirements?). Often, that's where you uncover the best opportunities for improvement and avoid local optimisation. Again, thank you and I hope this this is helpful feedback.

What is the difference between strategy map and value stream map?....or both are same?

Value-stream mapping is a lean-management method for analyzing the current state and designing a future state for the series of events that take a product or service from its beginning through to the customer. At Toyota, it is known as "material- and information-flow mapping". A strategy map is a diagram that is used to document the primary strategic goals being pursued by an organization or management team. It is an element of the documentation associated with the Balanced Scorecard, and in particular is characteristic of the second generation of Balanced Scorecard designs that first appeared during the mid-1990s.
