Great record. I've been a fan of Sam Beam's music since our endless numbered days and have seen him three or four times around the country. Thank you for adding your insight and increasing his exposure.

This was the first new record I bought when I got into vinyl six years ago. There isn't a bad track on it. Great stuff.

I got into Iron & Wine via Calexico as well. I also love the collaboration he did with Ben Bridwell of Band of Horses called "Sing Into My Mouth"- great record

I really enjoyed the Iron and Wine album after watching your review , but the real cherry on top has been my journey into the world of Calexico that you mentioned. I was not aware of this band , but I couldn't be happier that I found them now. I started with the latest album first. I then went back to the first album. So far i'm liking the early albums the most. I just finished the Deluxe edition of the second album [ The Black Light ]. I can't express how much I loved this whole album. I think my system was made for this music. It was a wonderful two hour musical experience. Thanks for sharing , and I think you should do a video review of this band .

The back of the album cover is actually what the other side of the fabric would look like if you actually had the original work. Just like a complicated mathematics problem "You can see the working".

I’ll add this to my wish list. Sam Beam sounds very very relaxing in a good way.

His version of Such Great Heights on the Garden State OST did it for me. Loved his music ever sense.

I just got this album 2 days ago. And it's pretty good. A classic sound from iron and wine. I'm looking forward to "light verse" and what Sam beam will bring on the new album

Also great are Endless Numbered Days and The Shepherd's Dog. Took me years to get past the whispery singing but it was worth it

I don't know I kind of think this album is where he kind of went off the rails. My favorite album of his has to be ghost on ghost. Mostly because I have very fond memories of listening to it through headphones walking around Disney world with my future wife /girlfriend at the time and being stoned on a mixture of oxycontin and speed. I've been a fan of Sam beams /iron and wine the early days, I still play our endless number days quite regularly
