This performance alone is more than enough proof that Taeyong is very much ready for a solo. Just look at him being so phenomenal on stage. I get chills watching him. What a consummate artist!

he is ready but SM probably won't let him yet because they gave him 0 solo schedule in 2020 and now he's recovering since he was overworked by promoting with his groups :( but hopefully he will get his chance to shine as a solo artist sooner rather than later :)

@@tytrack95 Yes, we wish him the best, but as you stated, reality is a bit different. I know we also want to have all his compositions released in an album before he "outgrows" them. I mean I think one of the reasons he keeps on spoiling the songs that he's been working on is becoz he wants us to be able to hear them as soon as possible as these are his creative outputs at the moment. And as he mentioned in his September vlive (yes, that very emotional vlive), he thinks that he's going through some changes both as a person and as an artist, and that the music that he creates will also reflect these changes. And indeed, the last song that he spoiled for us, 3M (Move, Mood, Mode), sounds different (I'm loving its melodious vibe tbh) from his earlier ones. And as more time pass by, we could expect more of these evolved music from him, which makes me wonder what would happen to his earlier songs, which are all wonderful and deserve to be released as well..

처음에 가면 써서 얼굴 안 보일때도 랩과 퍼포먼스에 감탄하게 되는데 가면을 벗으면 정말...숨이 막힘..... 태용이의 아름다움이 아티스트로서의 레벨을 어나더클래스로 끌어올려주기도 하지만 무대 본적도 없는 사람들은 얼굴 보고 좋아한다고 생각하겠지...우리 태용이 진짜 아티스트인데ㅠㅠ

Wow...I'm impressed. I used to not like this very much, but your thumbnail looked 4k and Taeyong looked good so I gave this song and performance another chance and I could pull my eyes away...I see the swag flowing all over the place! He went hard yet he was in control. It was great! I bought it! It was fun and he hyped everybody up to join him in on the fun!! He almost resembled GD on some level but you could tell Taeyong was all his own style and it's better than what anyone else could have done. And I loved the little laugh at the end, haha. The man's got skillz. and he's so cute~ Thanks for the vid!

Amazing after watching his 24hr cam relay for NCT 127 and he's working on this song in the early hours of the morning. To see it go from production to the stage all by Taeyong. Talent, raw and pure.
