DeWalt DCB615 new giant battery - does it fit? And how good (or bad) is it?

Magnífica información. DEWALT tiene que ponerse las pilas y hacer compatible esta Batería FLEXVOLT DCB615 con todas sus herramientas de 20V y 60V, tal y como prédica.

Maybe DeWalt engineered it like that for a reason. That battery isn't designed for the small little 20v chain saws. It's designed for the large 60v tools, particularly the DCCS677, for the most part. Even your answer from DeWalt should be a huge tell-tale.

Only need the big 15amp for big tools like chainsaws

It is completely stupid to get one of these massive batteries, they would have to cut the price in half to make it even remotely a practical decision to buy one. You can buy 2 9 AH batteries for way less money, it takes just seconds to swap out the battery and you don't have to carry around that massive battery.

Agreed, two 9 AH batteries give you more AHs for the Dollar. We got our DCB615 batteries in the chainsaw kits and there the big battery gives you an extra 1/2 hp, so that made sense to me. The three tools we use the DCB615 the most with: chainsaw, blower, trimmer.

You are both the batteries are for outside lawn mower the big new 729 inch grinder dcg 460 bigger heavy duty the new battery powered welder so it has its place for sure
