What do you think about 3300 psi for residential and light commercial work

You buy something and use it with the intentions of returning it after you are done with your project? You are a piece of shit if you do that. Absolutely zero virtue.

Most dewalt tools are made in mexico, taiwan or china now which is why I steer clear of anything dewalt. The day I bought a drill that was dewalt thinking it would be amazing quality cause Mike Holmes used it and it started smoking after the first day was the last time I ever purchased dewalt. Not to unfairly paint dewalt only with this brush cause almost all power tools are made in china now just like everything else. Good old capitalism and maximizing profits. Why pay a North American a decent wage when you can pay someone from a third world country 2 dollars an hour. With that being said, I've purchased only rigid since and have never had a problem and nowadays the stamp of made in china doesn't absolutely mean it's a piece of garbage. I've found dewalt totally hit or miss in the quality realm. I'm sure their top dollar equipment is still good stuff though.

George R. 2 dollars an hour? At that rate you are paying way too much! Foxconn pays Chinese teenagers 50 cents an hour to work 16 hour days making iPhones. That same phone could be made in the USA and Apple could still make a 50% profit. But they won't do that because that's not enough profit, it's called CORPORATE GREED! Screw the people crying about unions. I have NEVER EVER been in a union, but I don't have much against them. There is more good to them than bad. Truth be told they helped make this country what it is and if it weren't for them people would be looking at Chinese wages and poor unsafe working conditions. People lost their lives to make this possible. Google "Foxconn Apple" and see that nets had to be installed in those plants to catch people that jump to their deaths from being overworked. The man crying about unions... you are being fooled, it's the corporations that are the real problem here. More money goes to corporate welfare than social welfare. They want tax breaks and incentives to keep jobs here... don't be a fool, no tax break or incentive can compete with the low Chinese wage. You have to love these great companies that get a 10 year TAX FREE incentive to build their products here (Sony and VW for example) and as soon as the 10 year tax break is up they close up shop leaving people unemployed. Fall for the baloney fool.

Sheppy99 Please see my reply to George R. below that touches on part of your post which I happen to agree with. Also look for a pressure washer with a Honda GX engine and a CAT pump. Nothing is perfect, but that is my advice.

Shannon Parker I would not blame Home Depot... You have to be very careful when selecting a pressure washer. It's best to actually unbox it at Home Depot to see what exact pump is on it before purchasing as boxes can be mislabeled and web sites not updated with the current information. One time they may have a good CAT, General, or Comet brand pump on them and the next one could have the cheap garbage "professional" pump that you got. Unfortunately FNA is like most and they try to deny a claim making up BS about abuse or as you were told "normal wear and tear." What a joke! Most companies these days won't stand behind a product, they want to make the cheapest thing and maximize profit. It's a shame really. Even the engine manufacturers... as good as Honda is they like many others blame the ethanol in todays fuel for issues. All of these companies look for excuses. I would say to get a good fuel treatment and stabilizer and add that to your gas.

Yep. Simpson makes them and Dewalt markets the product. The Dewalt and Simpson units have pumps from various manufacturers.

Actually FNA makes simpson and Dewalt but in short yes you are right.

This is to make the pull start easier right? I don't understand; that would suggest that the engine works less hard while the trigger is pulled (which of course it doesn't).

find voltage what you pay is what you get....i have a 13 hp honda 390 with a general tss1511 belt drive pump. i run it from april to late october 8 hrs a day and it has been great fot 3 years now besides belt replacement and other minor maintenace. I change the oil on motor and pump ofter! its how you maintain and use your equipment and also how serviceable it is. i can order all the pump manifold parts like valve and packings to keep pump running for a long time. stop being in your feelings and know your shit!
