Hi istvan, thx man! If you gonna do cabinets for sure the last vid is really a great value for you, and also the REVIEW 20:20 min , there i go over squaring The Fence . Is probably with all DeWALT FENCES vertically not exactly square with the table, but you can solve that with a view pieces of insulation tape, greetings piet!

Hi yannick, Thx man! Yeah , many times at first Glance it looks good, but the shit is many times in the detail, I learned over the years so I know a little where to watch out for! There are some things wich could be better, but every machine has pro,s & cons ! I think this machine gives a ,,Good Bang for your Buck! At least all the problems so far are solvable! I work around it ! If I can,t actually solve them ! Well, lot,s of Succes with your new saw, I hope you gonna be pleased with it, like I am ! Greetings piet!!!

This was absolutely excellent. Right to the point. I subscribed to your channel immediately. I found one mystery plastic wing screw on the back upper side of the saw. Right below the plate. Does anyone know the purpose of this screw? It has the spring on it.

good video! is your blade parallel under 30 or 45°? i calibrated under 90° - when i set the saw to 30° the blade is more then 1mm unparallel.
@pietpuck6456
@pietpuck6456 2 жыл бұрын
Hi lukas, Wow,THAT,S ODD!! That,s a lot! Did you calibrate from the Left Miter Slot ? Well, mine doesn,t do that, it,s NOT NORMAL ! I,m sure of that because you notice that Rightaway! It Drags or you have 1mm Clearance at the Back of the Blade! But i gonna measure that tomorrow anyway! Although i cut on a few hundreds of millimeter under 8 or 10° for Compound Miters and they fit like a Glove! Is maybe something wrong with the Gliding Rods under the Table? Something is not ok!. And the Motorframe is SOLID MOUNTED? It,s an Intriging Problem! Now it,s late but soon as i have time i look to mine , see if i can come up with a Plausable Course, iget back to you for sure, i answer under this message from you, ok?! Well, all the best and So Long!!! Greetings Piet !!!

@@pietpuck6456 last night i went back to the garage to take a quiet look at the problem. I calibrated first on the left, then checked on the right. At first everything was really wrong, afterwards to ~ 0.07mm - so it fits. But then I noticed that the rear "axle" wobbles. even if it was set to 90 ° and clamped, for example, I can wobble in the rear area. i hope you understand what i mean: D Due to the high tolerance on the back, I'm about 0.2mm or 1mm unparallel at ~ 30 °.

@@lukas6380 hi, i just checked my Blade with a MiterGauge ; (One Increment = 0.01mm ) Take care that your meter lays FLAT on the Table and measure the same for 3or 4 Times and see which measurements of these 4 are the same, that,s than the Distance! Well, mine 90° Discrepancy = 0 mm, Than 30° Discrepancy = 0,25mm Wider at the Back to the Left also measured 4 Times ! So mine has it also a bit, but i think they all do ! Than that ,,Wobble,,at the ,,Dustport,, that,s also normal because mine does that a bit too, NO WORRIES during Cutting it doesn,t matter because the Di screpancy of the Cut stays with me around 0.06 mm under each Angle !! My Blade stays Perfectly in Line! If you measure be very Critical with the same Height from Table because a little Higher or Lower makes also immediate a Different Reading, BE AWARE !! Otherwise you put yourself on the wrong Foot !! My Previous Calibration was 4 Weeks ago and is still 0mm !! Well, i hope this will bring you further! If Not, you can always contact me, i also should like to be helped!! NO SWEAT! Greetings Piet !

Hi joe, sorry you,re right i was too quick indeed total zero is no problem long as it is zero or a little bit wider ! Closer even 1/100 mm is considered wrong but zero is still ok! I,m looking for the limits , and zero does NOT give a problem ! Let,s say you go 1/100mm over still doesn,t give a problem ! But I must agree with you to be on the save side a little bit more discrepancy doesn,t harm! But like I said I was looking for the Limits! Anyway thank,s a lot for mentioning, that means : ,,You were really paying attention !!! I like that !! I do the same, man ! Great! Thx very much! Between you and me, zero is still ok ! I work in 1/100- 5/100 mm and no problem what so ever, bigger discrepancies I didn,t try yet! Thx, greetings puet!!

In reality Dewalt is not concerned with supplying a TOP bench saw: -The internal dust insulation has been changed, even so the machine releases a lot of dust. - It's a noisy machine. - The consumer does not have the option to buy this machine at 127 volts. - No disc brake - Goniometer with clearance. - There is no flange size option, plastering the consumer to buy cutting discs of another size (should come shaft hole flanges of other disc sizes as an accessory). - The cutting edge is out of adjustment. - The angle adjustment knob is too hard as well as unreliable. - Does not fit 254 mm disc, only 250 mm. When starting and stopping the engine, strangely "spark". DISAPPOINTMENT! The industries, such as Bosch, Makita, Dewalt etc. it is the same disrespect towards the consumer. Adilson you're right! Enough of watching videos from KZfaqrs running their hands over the heads of the saw manufacturers just to beg and beg a shut up and in favor of GARBAGE!!!!!!! People who keep selling themselves to the manufacturers of saws and tools in exchange for "jabá". The reality is one, for tool manufacturers, we are considered third class consumers, not to mention the lack of safety and quality! We cannot and must not accept these equipment and tools without quality, safety and respect for others, it is the lack of maturity prevailing at the expense of reasonableness, common sense, ethics, safety and respect! We cannot accept that we Brazilians are treated as third-class consumers, denying us and making us have to consume products without quality. We don't have to accept what the manufacturers want to sell us and push down our throats, precarious, limited machines, which fall short of our needs. Today, the market has a lack and need for portable saws with better quality, as well as features and safety. This "little chat" and the justification of the industries that these machines are for construction sites only serves to relieve them of launching better saws. Year after year the so-called "releases" and or "new" do not have effective advances and improvements. It is the same as always, the accommodation of industries. What really changes is just price, always more expensive, without significant effective improvements for the consumer!
