Recently, 2 of my knock off's stopped charging. The light shows for one flash then nothing (not charging). I watched the video about checking for broken wire. Both of them had broken wires, solder them and they are back to normal. Hope this helps someone.

I bought Knockoff Craftsman 19.2 from Amazon about 4 years ago+still going strong!! Actually they lasting longer than the stock batteries!! Never babied them+they never let me down. Also bought the Knockoff 12v Craftsman+Black+Decker 5 amp Battery also no issues!! Would buy them again w/no hesitation!!

Love my Waitley batteries. They even survived the Canadian cold winter and are totally worth it! Not a high draw (grinder or circular saw)) battery but perfect for an impact driver or drill.

Thank you for the original video, and this one, got a pack of 2 of these after seeing your video months back, and I'm so happy with them. Anything that is heavy work, I take the these, and really happy. Seeing the same as you, when they get low, they give less power than a low dewalt, but still do the job. For the price, it's just amazing. I even ended buying dewalt battery compatible tools, using these batteries on them, without fear of killing them, given they are cheaper. Amazed so far !

Awesome brokedown of the stats. My oldest knock-off dewalt is from April of 2021 and is still working great.

I purchased a set of 4 of these initially for my Power Station - have served well. Even using them in my grinder and rotary hammer, they have held up well. Not exactly as well as the originals, but decent enough for the price. I finally had ONE not want to charge recently (charger acting like no battery is plugged in) and traced the issue down to a bad resistor - replaced and pack is still going strong. Seems to be the only real issue with this (and similar) packs, likely the same culprit: bad ID resistor.

I get great run time with my 40 year old Skillsaw with a cord !!! I'll even go further all my corded tools from many years ago have great run times 💪😆

i use the dewalt chainsaw 60 v as well and I only use the dewalt brand i had a knock off 60 v battery sent to me and it was a piece of crapo

Waitley batteries are no joke, I’ve bought the m12 and m18 ones and they get abused everyday and have lasted me 6 months and still going. I’ve recently got into the dewalt platform and will definitely buy some Waitley batteries

I have Worx and Dewalt. The only batteries I have from them are the ones that came with the initial product. All others are knockoffs. I'm sorry, but the difference in quality doesn't justify the difference in cost. Two 20V 4AH batteries came with my Worx product. I bought two 20V 6AH knockoffs that last a bit longer than the 4AH Worx batteries at 1/3 the cost. It's not my job so I don't use these batteries a ton, so it's a no brainer to me.

I bought a waitley 3 years ago and I just now stopped working after it was dropped. Not the first time I dropped it.

I think the runtme degradation can be easily remedied with balance charging. But then DeWalt will rip me out of warranty if I open up the battery while Waitleys do not even have the security plug. Way better deal than DeWalt for me.

Interesting, I have been eyeballing something like that and wondering if they’re any good. The brand name battery prices are on crack right now. It’s more than most of the tools themselves. Does anybody know where you can find the old, basic 20v Dewalt brand batteries? No super lightning flex volt quad stack double patty with cheese $250 batteries?

Purchased a Waitley battery today for my dcf900 impact wrench seems like it’s going to do the job I have both Dewalt and waitley batteries now so going to run the waitley battery to the ground and hopefully won’t need to use the Dewalt for a whilst great comparison by the way

Hold it partner! I bought two Dewalt knock-off batteries that didn't last no time! They cost me good money and didn't last at all. I thought I was buying Dewalt batteries but they trick me and sent two knock-off batteries that was totally worthless. I purchased knock-off batteries from both Amazon and Walmart (online) and I simply lost my money! So don't tell me about the quality of knock-off batteries when I have been duped twice! The Dewalt batteries (that I purchased in 2023) for the most part have performed well and have lasted for over a year now. I purchased four 2 amp batteries and two 6 amp batteries that have really done a great job. I will never purchase any knock-off batteries again; however, crooks market, design, and perpetuate fraud so well until you can easily mistakenly buy knock-off batteries thinking you are purchasing Dewalt batteries. It's a shame and a disgrace that these crooks get a way with this fraudulent activity.

Do you know which ones you bought I would love to blast them in a video there is nothing dirtier than a company pretending to be soemthing they aren't. These waitely batteriies I have used never pretended to be anything other than dewalt compatible knock offs, I have well over two years into them. However a good friend of mine bought some of this brand and one died a year after.
