When I was a kid I would think of "fiction" as "fake" because they both start with a "f". So non fiction would not fake stories which are true stories.

2:18 that's a weird way to put it. I would say fiction = fake and non-fiction = not fake That seems easier to remember because the word fiction starts with the letter "f" and "non" means not
