Excellent tutorial for breaking down how to do loose watercolor. It's funny because you think loose is easy but in reality it requires some patience and skill

Your video tutorial is very detailed, I'm also starting to learn to paint with watercolor, but I can't master it. Painting with watercolors requires skillful hands and great creativity. I hope you will have more video tutorials for me to learn from.

I’m still enjoying your painting lessons. Thanks very much. I thought you might like to try one of my brushes in case you haven’t one yet tried it. It holds a good amount of paint while still giving a nice point. NEEF 294 Taklon dagger. 1/8. PatE.

thank you for you good tips. But when I take up a lot of water and do only one stoke, like you did in this video, its always very pale when it has dried. (I am using professional grade paints and paper). Not sure what I can do about it.

I think it's all about practising with slight variations on a page and comparing which works best. What might seem like a lot of water to you might be not very much to someone else. We all have natural inclination to paint in a certain way and it's all about trying something different

I feel a loose painting lets the viewer interpret the picture in their way, it allows us to use our imagination, rather than a clear picture that shows what is there. Although I love both styles.
