Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZfaq, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZfaq. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZfaq, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

I was in college in 1982 I remember this song very clearly I've always been into music and no one absolutely no one was worried or reactive about it being controversial. and remember this was when Prince was hugely popular and yeah... know this was not upsetting to anyone & Prince was amazing as well

Some people look for reasons to be offended. This track is altogether fabulous. I can't hear this track without being reminded of Martin Stephenson & The Daintees. Their 'Wholly Humble Heart' is somewhat different stylistically but it always makes me think of happy summers.

people with dirty minds might think the chorus is saying a different spelling for the word "come". that's about the only thing i can think of as being risque. btw a violin and a fiddle are the same instrument. my favorite explanation of the difference is "a violin sings, and a fiddle dances".

Johnny Ray is seen in the B & W stock footage at the beginning of the video. The girls have Johnny Ray printed on their shoes. His biggest hit was Cry. That's why they called him Poor Johnny Ray.

Johnnie Ray was a pop singer in the early to mid fifties that had a lot of feeling and soul in his singing and a great voice. I think you should react to a few of his biggest songs and the three biggest are Cry, Just Walking in the Rain, and The Little White Cloud That Cried.

Have tears in my eyes thinking back to the 80s as a teenager..memories come flooding back so nostalgic. This record was a huge hit and is undoubtedly one of the biggest hits of that decade. I think it was no1 for 6weeks or so. Not sure about the Dungarees though even if they were popular. Can't get everything right though!

Found one commentary that questions "Come On Eileen" is about a paedophile.😅(Search "Is Dexys Midnight Runners’ ‘Come on Eileen’ about a paedophile?" for the original article) Another controversy of the song is not about the content, but whether Kevin Rowland stole the song from ex-bandmate and lied about Eileen was his teenage girlfriend. It's not the lyrics that make it hated by some people. I have a bit of a love-hate feeling for it. It is catchy, that's for sure, but it is kind of bubblegum pop and has no real depth to it. Incorporating the standard Irish instruments is interesting, but they also rip off a few other tunes in the mix. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but overall it seems a little easy, and maybe a little lazy piece of song writing.
