Absolutely stunning. My dad had a red one in 1974. I was 9. Same4274speed had recurring starter issues. Car was incredibly fast. Dad had to reuse starter bell end and use a new truck starter pieced together. 2 brothers bought it and went racing at Suffolk Raceway.

You're killing me, Dezzy!! Take 'em BOTH!! You don't see many red or white interiors in these years. Many seem to be black vinyl regardless of body color. Like the red dash as well. Sweet rigs!! ❤

Dez i had one myself. 1967 427 ss 4 speed impala. Car was originally out of long Island ny. It was moroon new but it had been painted white. I bought it in north east Maryland. Long bad story on the car but eventually it went back to the original owners family. Thong was big and powerful

The '66 taillights always sell me on the mid '60's Chevrolets.

Yea Chevy was on a roll in 1966 and 1967. They knew they had to get back to the three round tail lights again in 1968, though.

Those are both beautiful cars. I say Red interior, I had a 76 Impala with Red interior I loved it, the only red interior car I’ve ever owned. Believe it or not I have thought about red seat covers for my white truck I have right now because I wish they still did Red interior more often. Thanks for showing these I also had a 73 Caprice with a 400 small block that was awesome and a 94 Roadmaster with the LT1 I’m a B body fan 😃

The blue one is just like my moms, she had the 327, and an automatic, reckon my dad gave her a break, she had a 49 chevy once and had some rough times in the snow a few years after the war.

I remember when Car Life magazine featured a test with a 1969 Impala SS with the 425 horsepower 427 engine attempting to pull an Airstream trailer at 100 miles per hour.
