Couldn't ask for a nicer champ. You always feel how grateful and humble he is in interviews and commentary. Then, you hear stories of him stopping in his pickup in the rain to give a fan a ride after a tournament so they don't have to walk in the bad weather. What a dude.

So happy to see Kevin take home his first DGPT win! He's quickly become my favorite player on tour. Class act all the way around! And GK totally KILLED it with their coverage! Top notch camera work. If these cats are playing anywhere near where you live I promise you it will be worth your time to go see them play live. So many great memories of going to watch first live round ever given it was three miles from my house. The Great Lakes Open. First, truly silly but to me not so: Standing an appropriate distance from Zach Melton (he bombed a great putt in end for 3rd) I see him throw some weird mojo stuff out of brush to putting distance and breaking rules organically spouted, "that was so sweet". Zach looks at me and though horrified that I might have broken some rule was instantly thrilled by his response, "thanks". That is me in the pink shirt and $4 dollar cowboy had turning to watch the errant shot right after McBeast throws an bizarrely non-human shot that is followed by KJ topping it with an Ace-run on blind 400 plus foot shot trying to locate the errant third players shot. Then to be there live after KJ slams a 50-footer home to force McBeast to make his putt at edge of circle to win. I watched the tape replay. It does not show McBeast showing why he is best ever. He tapped his chest, "I got this", he seemed to say letting the closer one player left know that he was going to blow the chains up to win this thing over KJ. Yes, McBeast slammed it home.

Congrats to Kevin. I had the pleasure of playing a round with him at the Wintertime open. He’s just as good a person as he is a disc golfer, I’ve much respect for him. I also want to add that the game has recently lost a legend in the sport. Mike Williams , La Mirada and disc golf icon has passed away. He will be missed. Thanks for everything you did for me and the sport Mike 🙏🏽

Some great play all around in this tourney. Kevin Jones is an absolute beast on the course and great in the commentary booth as well. Young guys like him n Eagle make me super excited for the future of disc golf.

I feel like the commentary was off. I love both these guys and enjoy watching them play, but there's just a few a missed expressions and it was awkward at times. Less is more with commentary.
