This really inspired me bhante....Actually in India..Burmese born Sayaji SN Goenka has popularized the technique of Vipassana in people of all faiths...and most of them practice vipassana and they have given up their dogmas and rituals...so its not about being born in a particular religion....its about Paramis...

In vipasanna there are jhanna and is known as kanika samadhi and it pass momentarily (quickly). In vipasanna practice mental contemplation on the 4 foundation of mind, mind object, body, feelings keep moving forwards. Not like samatha where the jhanna is build very strong and will stop at UPEKA. For vipasanna it do not stop at UPEKA the kanika samadhi which is actually is jhanna. It is call kanika samadhi (jhanna) because it move quickly and do not stay at one point (upeka) as it keep pushing forward to Enlightment. It will only will stop at ENLIGHTMENT. Here the ceesation of six sense will finally STOP or samara concious STOP. All thinking STOP. This is the moment of ceesation of mind and matter. This is ENLIGHTMENT. In pali is known as NIRODHA (Ceesation) SAMAPATHI(Enlightment) So that is why jhana in vipasanna enter and out very quickly as this kind of meditation will leads one straight to Enlightment when one practice deligently. Monk must remember why they become monk. The answer is to become ENLIGHTED. Monk must not think ENLIGHTMENT is hard. This kinds of thinking is very ignorance. Start practice Vipasanna and STOP THE THINKING. NIBANNA is the STOPPING of all thoughts and CEESATION of mind will be ACCOMPLISHED. CEESATION of mundane conciousness is NIBANNA. Here is a SIMILE:so as the fire stop its flame(represant the mind) when no more wood(represant sense door) are added. And then it shall totally exthinguish(represant mind also decay) Simile 2: Suppose one blow out a candle light, where is the candle light go? Suppose i have a another candle and i lighted it. Can you say this new lighted candle light is the same candle light of the previous one that i blown off. Definitely it is not. So the same goes when one attain to nibanna, the samsara mind is discarded. This phenomenor cannot be realised until one come to attainment oneself. The BUDDHA say AHEPASIKO and you will know. The BUDDHA. One must attain Sainthood in this life or it will be a waste. Practice vipasanna breathing meditation and accompany with knowledge of the 8 noble truth will leads one in this life to ceaseasion of the six senses and attainment nibanna. One will need to reach ceesation to complete the vipasanna mind purification. Upon ceesation one will be free from all sufferrings no physical body and thinking. Upon return experience of nibanna one enter jhanna, with undisturbed pure mind, pleasurable whole body filled with happiness, peaceful and vibrant, an experience of wonder's. The BUDDHA invite everyone to come and practice vipasanna mind purification and you will experience it yourself. Nibanna experience is for one who seek deliverance from the endless cycle of birth and death. Ceesation of conciousness is the arising to NIBANNA. BUDDHAM SARANAM GACCHAMI

Karma is memory. It was karma that remember to take you to new rebirth. To heaven if good deeds and to hell, hungry ghost realsm, animal if bad deeds. The BUDDHA say KARMA are your HEIR. Below are the working of karma: Karma saka:I am my own karma Karma dayada:I am heir to to my karma Karma yoni:I am born in this life from my karma Katma bandhu :I am the kinsman of my karma. Karma patisarana:I am protected by my karma. Yam kammam karissami... What ever karma i shall do Tasa dayado bhavissami ti...I shall become their heir.
