Hatsoff to director.. 1. A period movie within 10 Cr with unknown actors. 2. A period movie with a clear message.. It is all about authority of humans on their own. 3. A great hook for the sequel that already feels it will be better. I hope more people watch, recognize and appreciate this movie. Yes there are issues due to budget constraints but movies with 500 Cr lacked more.

This director is going to shine in future. Saw the film, with just 7 cr, he had done an impressive job. Will eagerly wait for his movies. I have seen so many actors/directors some of them even established calling BR as "sir" in his show, but this guy is so confident and having great conviction of his thought process that he just sees BR as interviewer, never did he address BR as sir. He is schooling BR, but at the same time not arrogant. His stress is on conveying his thought process.

Now I am planning to watch Yaathisai second time in theater after watching this interview. Great work, Dharani Rasendran and his crew 👏💐

I do expect this movie to have its flaws since it is a first-time director's effort with a budget that is far lower than usual for a period movie and the effort to use old Tamil in the dialogues might throw some off from watching... I love how this movie has thrown up debate on historical accuracies...It grows the understanding of the common person when we make more of such movies as inevitably Tamil historians will come to the fore when discussions are held and have an audience they didn't have before...With OTT consumption, it should become more common to watching international movies with subtitles for those from the sub-continent and I honestly feel this movie might be more appreciated in the years ahead than now, much like aayirathil oruvan... Just wish it was shown out here in Singapore theatres...

BR after watching the film, almost with a sense of urgency, gets Dharani to come for an interview and tries to understand the thinking process. Not only is BR endorsing a great effort but he is ever curious to understand the thinking process thereby educating us. I Just loved the way, expanded Previs, to help us understand what it really meant. The devil is always in the details. Thanks to BR, we all appreciate cinema that much more.
