इस प्रकार की आलोचना के लिए बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद। बेद काल के बाद जब मूर्ति पूजा की समय आई , तो विद्वान व्यक्तियों ने इसे साइंस के साथ जुड़ा दिया था । अब देखिए , हर गांव में ग्राम देवी प्रतिष्ठित हे ( Odisa में तो हे,अन्य राज्य की मुझे पता नहीं) । परंपरा हे की ग्राम देवी की अगुरु , चुआ,चंदन , जायफल , कर्पूर, सिंदूर आदि से माजना यानेकी , मूर्ति में एक लेप दिया जाता है । भक्त उसी मूर्ति से कुछ सिंदूर लाके अपनी घर की हर दरवाजे की ऊपरी हिस्सा में लगा देता है , ये सोच के --की मा की आसीरबाद मिलेगी । हर ग्राम देवी की मूर्ति एक बिसिस्ट पत्थर से निर्माण होता हे। जब इन सब चीजों को उस पत्थर की मूर्ति से घर्षण किया जाता है तो उसमें एक Chemical Reaction होता हे। जब व्यक्ति दिन भर अपनी घर की हर दरवाजे से बार बार आता जाता हे तो उस सिंदूर की गंध उस की शरीर की अंदर जाता है श्वास की प्रभाव से। जब कोई व्यक्ति मानसिक रूप से रोगी हो , तो उस गंध से उसे लाभ होता हे और दो चार महीनों में ओ ठीक हो जाता हे , एकाग्र भाव आ जाता हे । हिंदी सिनेमा OMG में दर्शाया गया है कि हिंदू लोग बेकार में ही सीबलिंग पर दूध चढ़ाते है। मगर उस में भी साइंस हे। सिबलिंग एक बिशेस प्रकार की पत्थर से बनाया जाता हे। और सीब मंदिर की सैली भी अलग प्रकार की होता हे । दिन में सूर्य देव की प्रभाव से उस लिंग का प्रभाव कम हो जाता हे। उस प्रभाव को बनाए रखने के लिए लिंग में दूध, माखन , जायफल, कर्पूर , नारियल का पानी , बेल पत्र, इत्यादि का घर्षण किया जाता हे । संक्रांति की दिन सूर्य का प्रभाव पृथ्वी पर थोड़ा कम होता हे ।इसलिए उस दिन ये सब घर्षण ज्यादा करना पड़ता है । ये सब चीजों की लिंग से घर्षण की कारण उस रसायन एक औषधि में परिवर्तित हो जाता है। भक्त उसे भगवान की प्रसाद की रूप में खाता है , तो ये प्रसाद एंटी ऑक्सीडेंट की रूप में काम करता है । मनुष्य दिन भर जितना भी Poison ग्रहण करता है,--खाना पीना से , परिवेश से , वो सब body से निकल जाता है। बहुत साल पहले Reader 's Digest नाम का एक मैगजीन में एक आर्टिकल में लिखा था ,--की साउथ अफ्रीका में एक मिशनरी पादरी के पास एक पत्थर का टुकड़ा था ,अगर किसी व्यक्ति को जहरीला सांप काट देता था , तो उस पादरी ने इस पत्थर को उस दसें हुए स्थान पर लगा देने से , उस पत्थर ने शरीर से poision को खींच लेता था । बाद में उस पत्थर को गाय की दूध से डुबो देने से , उस पत्थर से poision निकल जाता था। हमारा ओडिशा का पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री स्वर्गत जानकी बल्लभ पटनायक के एक भाई थे , वो भी कभी राज्यपाल थे ( उनका नाम मुझे याद नहीं है) , उनके पास भी ऐसा एक पत्थर था । सच तो ये हे की कासी की किसी टूटे हुए सिबलिंग की एक एक टुकड़ा उन लोगों के पास था । जिस से उन लोगों ने चमत्कार दिखाते थे। भारत की मूर्तियों के पीछे साइंस हे । लोगों को ये सब पता लगेगा तो कहीं भगवान से भाव -भक्ति कम हो जाएगा ,-- इसलिए ये सब हमें छुपाया गया था। और इस भ्रम के कारण हमें OMG और PK वाले भ्रमित करते हे। हिंदी मेरा मातृभाषा नहीं है, कहीं भूल हो तो माफ कीजिएगा । जय जगनाथ।

सौरभ जी just to correct your statement, मूर्ति को भगवान या देव-देवी हिन्दू भी नहीं मानते, लेकिन ईश्वर के निराकार रूप को बिना जाने अन्धकार में भक्ति करने का क्या मतलब ? अपने इस्ट-देव तक अपना भाव समर्पित करने के लिए एक संकेत, इशारा या स्वरुप का सहारा लेना ही पड़ता है । शब्द स्वयं आकर रहित है, आकाश तत्त्व है लेकिन फिर भी बालपन में A for Apple से ही हम शब्द समझते हैं, इसका मतलब ये नहीं की Apple ही A शब्द है। हिन्दू सगुन से निर्गुण के उपासक हैं, आकर से निराकार के सफर में विश्वास रखते हैं। Hence Sadguru Jaggi rightly says that this is the land of seekers (गुरसिखी/साधक) and not just believers....

तर्क-वितर्क और कुतर्क ! मेरे विचार में ध्यान का प्रथम स्तर ही तर्क-वितर्क से आरम्भ होकर, दूसरे में लक्ष्य, तीसरे में चित्त की अनुपस्थिति और चतुर्थ में समाधि है ! प्रथम स्तर में साधक तर्क-वितर्क में स्वंय पूर्व एवं उत्तर पक्ष होता है ! ध्यान के दूसरे स्तर में लक्ष्य की स्थापना और तीसरे में चित्त की अनुपस्थिति कर चतुर्थ में समाधि में प्रवेश करना है। परन्तु यहां कुतर्क या असंगत प्रश्नों का न कोई औचित्य है और न ही उनके उत्तर खोजने की आवश्यकता।
