The dad was a character I could respect. He obviously didn't want to take their son away but is right in the sense that if a child isn't safe with a parent, it's not in the best interest of the child to stay alone with them. The dad also was perfectly fine with letting the mom see him anytime she wanted under supervision.

As a former addict (6 years clean now) this really touched my heart!! People really don't understand you really can't just stop!! It's not that easy and when you child ir children get removed, it makes you go deeper into addiction to try and ease the pain!! I wish CPS would understand that removing children won't make a person get clean and it makes it worse. I love the ending and hopefully people that are struggling at this very moment will see this and see there is still hope!!

I totally agree with the dad. To love someone you have to love yourself first. I was a drug addict on meth, for a long time. My husband gave me an ultimatum: either him or the meth. I chose him. I decided to get my life together and get off the drugs. If the mother wants to get her son back, she HAS to get off the drugs

I was addict as well mainly heroin and meth for 6 months then fentanyl for a bit. Getting clean is the best thing you did with now a days everyone is getting fentanyl in their drugs even meth and dying ❤

Liked how this story had a good ending. Good that the Mum was able to get treatment for her drug addiction and that the husband was forgiving and willing to give her a second chance. Good that they were able to put their child first.

Honestly, this is a good video and I love the effort that Dhar always puts in his videos. I love your videos Dhar, keep up the work. Honestly, the mother wasn't bad. She just got an addiction. Addictions are hard to get rid of and can take years to get rid of. You never know how hard it is to get rid of addictions until you have one. In order to get rid of your addiction, first, reduce your addiction day by day.

One thing though is drug addicts often villianised. I liked that the father had compassion to see where she was coming from. Yes being addicted to drugs are bad but at the end of the day it’s also an illness. It’s not that easy to get off it either. If you can do something along the lines of portraying someone in that light it would definitely change lives. It’s such a brutal thing to deal with

The father is not a bad man. The father is a parent who cares for his son, and he is doing the best option there is to protect his child. The mother is not a bad person either, she just had no choice. Addiction is not something you can overcome easily, it's tempting and sometimes temptation gets the best of you.

This video was very powerful and beautiful I went to tears😢. And I'm glad that the Dad is the real victim here instead of the mother. Usually, dads are in the wrong in these situations and mums are in the right. I'm glad you made everything equal for everyone dhar mann! Umm, so the Mother is just immune from the kidnaping charge that would come from this. The Dad was trying to keep his Son away from the bad influence of his Mother, he is respectable man and is shown to be a good parent. And the Mom is shown to be the exact opposite, so Dhar Mann this is again a really great message you are teaching children. That you can just kidnap a person and just magicly get away from it, thank you for teaching this lesson to your impressionable 7-12 year old audience.
