This happened to my mom. She was paralyzed waist down in the navy…. She had a 50% chance to live to fix her legs… she’s here now. She has also survived seven back surgery’s. She’s an amazing and strong woman. Also salute to any veterans out there (Edit) thanks for all the positive comments 😭

I feel so bad for the mother and son in this video! Being handicapped is far too challenging. I have an uncle who is in a wheelchair for the rest of his life due to a jackknife accident while trucking. I'll admit this video was a tearjerker.

Indeed his mother's fault for not focusing on the road completely yet that's not what causes the accident, its the truck who rammed onto them from the passanger's side due to the sleepiness. It surprises me that Theo didn't blame his mother at all even the slightest bit, often I see blaming out of frustration. It's refreshing to see such healthy bond of family.

This is crazy ! I came across this, 2020 I got into a car accident and flew threw the windshield ! The medical team told me I wouldn’t be able to walk again, learned how to walk all over again & I’m blessed to say I’m able to walk this earth today gods plan 🤍

I love how he’s a fighter and growing into a man in possibly the toughest time of his life, and his mothers love to be strong for him is what is love. The truck hit and run is disgusting and God still took care of them in the end, God is good.

I was once hospitalized ( Nov 2021 ) and couldn’t walk. Went on to take 1st at districts in March 2022, 2nd at regionals where I then qualified and made the national team and came in 2nd. This is all for gymnastics btw ❤ It’s possible ❤

I loved that so much and it was so inspirational!! His mom pushed him so far, and even though his chances were slim he made it. Challenge after challenge and he overcame that out of sheer willpower. And it touched my heart, because of that beautiful mother to son relationship. Thank you Dhar, for making such an amazing video.

What a very great inspiring story! "When there's a will, there's a way." Everybody shouldn't give up on their dreams just due unfortunate circumstances such as car crashes that make people paralyze. If you work really hard, you can overcome any obstacles that dares to stand in your way from achieving your dreams.

Very true, but sometimes, one has to know when something is not to be. Very awesome he gotten to where no longer paralyzed, but if he stayed that way, allow new dreams to come. Like, I once wanted to be a musician, but I realized some short years ago, it was not to be. Writing may be a dream not meant for me to fulfill, but new dreams came to me that may very likely be meant to be.

Most of some people won't realize how hard being paralyzed might be, being stripped of your hobby and what you do must be tough and not being able to do what you love because of being paralyzed. Its like never playing a sport or a game ever again. For the people that might have gone through something the same as this video, I feel bad for them and I just hope you if you went through this, I hope you are okay.
