About the show:
'Dhe Chef', South India's biggest cooking reality show is aired on Mazhavil Manorama friday to sunday at 8 pm. The show tests the culinary skills of the selected contestants through the series to eventually find the 'Dhe Chef of the Year'. The format of the show, set in the back drop of kitchen and cooking with mega prize money on the table for the winner and runners up, will be an enchanting palate of culinary indulgence and fierce competition
Actor Dileep, who has mastered the nuances of delicious food, launched the show. 'Dhe Chef' is hosted by actress - anchor Jewel Mary along with renowned RJ Mathukutty. The judging panel consists of 3 professional Chefs - Chef Anjali Ramaswamy, Chef P V Pradeep and Chef Amrit Jose Appadan.
The show follows a dynamic pattern, with a mix of indoor and outdoor shoots. It has all the major factors of reality shows like twists, pressure tasks, time restrictions, mysteries, wild card entries, elimination rounds, safe zones and of course, presence of celebrity guests. Participants are also tested on group and individual rounds. What awaits the title winner are prizes worth 50 lakhs. The runners up will also be awarded exciting prizes.
20 contestants are selected from 40 short-listed participants who will compete with each other to win the title of 'Dhe Chef'. Brace yourself and get ready to witness some foodelicious episodes.

There is no point in sympathising with Joshy, as the curry or the idiappams were not good made by the red team. They won only because Natraj explained it well. It was Lijo's luck and favour from God for him to win and be in the winning team, as he deserves it . If you observed, he was the one who was preparing the curry and it was really tasty when he was in the blue team and the judges like me it very much, whereas the curry prepared by Joshy was unbalanced and the judges did not like it. So this was the right decision from the judges.

Really unfair..There was no need to change the team members at the end..Nothing changes the dish.But Joshy chetan missed the star...So sad about Joshychetan...

Asking a person to change teams in the middle of the game is really a bad idea. Please try avoiding this kind of twists, it really kills the spirit of the game. Moreover,how would you judge the contribution of that particular member in any of the teams. He started off in one team in planning and initiation and finishes with the other team. And why is it that he is considered with the team he is finished with, he has equally contributed to the team he started with as well. My strong suggestion is to avoid this in future as it just doesn't make sense. Rest of the show is simple awesome. Kudos to everyone.

Judgement was really unfair considering how joshy went to the other team. But the idea of RED AND GREEN IDIYAPPAM is awesome. Please post the recipes

what a pathetic twist and judgement. Joshy chettan was robbed of the star and this episode was not a star episode. many people said it rightly about judgements. who decides this episode twists. no brains or creativity. and judges, if you are really world class then behave and do as one. really feeling sad at the quality of this show. dear producers pls learn something first. joshy chettan deserves much more and he should have got the star unconditionally. if you can't improve the quality just stop this idiocity.

What was the point of the twist at the end? Chef Pradeep said from 37:47 -37:55 that "ee varuthazhacha karikku athinte taste verranamayirunnu ennu..Joshychettan was making that curry.. undakkiya alle avasanthe 10 min matte team mayi switch cheytapol athu ningal orthille.. and lijo chettan didn't know the process of making that curry.. Really bad twist.. If he joshychettan made that curry.. he would've get the dhe star...Really Unfair..
