Want to counter Medusa on why celebrities don’t speak up. In India, education or talent > gets you money > get you access to power > gets you access to basic laws > gets you basic access to rights… Now think of what this flow looks like for someone in US: Relatively Most people have basic rights regardless of education, power or money. So if someone speaks up and have their finances in order (stored in safe places).. they don’t have to worry about powerful taking it away.
