Except when you see the way he turned his eyes/face away at 18:07, when the other guy (G. Commander) talked about the old man becoming the Garrison Commander's father in law. Obviously they filmed that hint of his feelings there for her. That is the look of a man in disappointment. If he had no real feelings for her at all he wouldn't of looked that way. Maybe he just got as far as liking her as maybe a future love interest before she was gone/later thought she had died instead of Ping Ting. Even Wikipedia info on his character says he liked her.........as more then a friend or sister that is. Mo Ran is certainly not smiling like the rest of them.

Part 2: ZJ starts stuttering and said if FL keeps making fun of her then she will asked BJ to kill him. BJ nodded and ZJ immediately told BJ that she is just kidding. PT smiled and BJ told ZJ to save the lovers quarreling for later. BJ told FL that they came to Qin Ro bc they have something that they need to discuss with him. FL turned around told CBJ that he feel honor that the great CBJ wants to talk to him. FL said what could they want from his little town other than the grains that is going toward the war troops. FL continues that everyone know CBJ has a fight against their HX. Lucky for him, enemy’s enemy turns out to be a friend. FL said he doesn’t care much for HX and ever since HX gain power in Balian, everyone who has been supported by the PM has been treated like dogs. CBJ asked FL what does he mean by all this. FL told BJ that he only has one thing to say. He can surrender Qin Ro to CBJ but he has one condition. CBJ asked FL what is his one condition that he want them to full fill. FL immediately change his mind and said Qin Ro is still a very important town so if he only asked for one condition then he is getting the shorter end of the bargain and asked for two conditions. ZJ told FL to stop bargaining with BJ at a time like this. ZJ apologizes to BJ and said don’t mind FL and his temper is always like this. PT told FL that Qin Ro is very important to the and it is great that FL plans on surrendering the town. One condition is great but two conditions should be fine. PT asked FL to tell them what the two conditions are and they will see if they can accept and full fill them. First, PL said he wants ZJ. ZJ told him that she is not a thing and he can’t ask BJ to give her away. FL told her that he is discussing his condition and told her to shush. BJ told FL that the first condition is easy and he accepts. FL told BJ that ZJ just said she is not a thing so how can CBJ promises that ZJ will stay with him forever. BJ told FL that he will aim his sword at his fingers and every time ZJ said no he will cut one fingers off. BJ promises FL that before he cuts all ten fingers ZJ will agree. ZJ got concern and said she agree. FL smiled and BJ is really something. BJ told FL that first condition is full fill and ask him what is his second condition. FL told him that he hasn’t think it thru and will tell him when he is finish thinking. FL looks at ZJ and said he is trading one whole town for one woman. He is really wasteful and spoil. ZJ asked FL what is he talking about. FL laugh and said nothing. FL looks at BJ and asked him if they put poison in the well water. BJ assures him that it is just coloring and the water is still harmless. After all, the town people are innocent. FL asked CBJ how many people did he bring with him. BJ told him 4 people. BJ continues that it is enough and next he is going to need FL’s help. PT continues that Qin Ro is already making quite a disturbance already and they must act quickly. Since FL already surrender to CBJ, he promise to stay faithful to CBJ and invite them to discuss strategy at his house that night.

Part 3: Meanwhile, HX is feeling frustrated and throwing submitted requests from official offers on the floor. DZ walks in and asked HX what is wrong. HX told DZ that there are multiple requests from old court officers asking him to hold off becoming the new ruler bc of the abnormal events that are happening around Balian towns. HX continues that he keeps telling them that these events are causes by man kind and not god but those old fools wouldn’t listen. HX continues that he ask DZ to come bc he wants DZ to do something for him. DZ asked HX to go ahead. HX said FZY is guilty of accepting brides and he wants DZ to gather proofs on FZY. DZ seems surprise and asked if HX wants to take care of FZY. HX continues that a person who is always wandering is bound to be trouble. HX asked DZ if he think HX is being heartless bc he wants to get rid of FZY. DZ shakes his head and said that HX must have his reason for getting rid of FZY and promise to carry out HX’s order. HX sight and said it is only small matter bc soon he will conquer the world and become King. HX continues that DZ will be able to take matters in his own hand soon. As for PT, HX states that if he ever sees her again he will definitely kill her. In disbelief, DZ asked HX if he think PT is still alive. HX told DZ that if it wasn’t for PT then there is no way CBJ would come out of hiding. HX asked DZ how are the crowns going. DZ told HX that they already found the craftsman and found most of the jewels needed for the two crowns except for middle jewels. They needed two jewels for the center of the two crowns but they only found one. HX told DZ to use the jewel for the queen’s crown first and that his king’s crown can wait. HX continues that the materials for the queen’s crown has to be the best and every details must be precise. Over at FL, ZJ is pacing around nervously when everyone arrived. Seeing her master, ZJ runs into his arm and told him that she misses him so much. FL told ZJ to stop crying and suggest that he bow his head to her master three times and asked to become his son in law. ZJ told FL that it is her master so why does he needs to bow his head. Her master told FL that as long as he treated his pupil well, it doesn’t matter if FL wants to call him master or father in law. CBJ suggested that they put aside personal matter and start discussing the important matters. FL took out a map of Qin Ro and told CBJ that all the red lines are the grain routes that are going toward different troops. Qin Ro is their rest stop before heading out. CBJ continues that HX might be in power but he is still an outsider. There are bound to be old court officers and generals that are against HX. CBJ wonders if there are anyone that he can talk into coming over to their side. FL laugh and said he used to be in the army and he knows who can be persuade and who can’t. CBJ asked FL to compile a list of names for him and asked FL if he can give them access to the grains. FL said it is not a problem and asked CBJ what he plan on doing. FL said if they want to ship the grain outside then it is impossible bc there are too many eyes watching. CBJ shake his head and said they are not going to ship anything but instead they will put a special medicine in the grain. FL told CBJ that it is even more difficult to contaminated the grain bc if one person is poison then they will immediately find the causes. PT assures FL that it is not poison and she can make a mixtures that will go undetected. FL thought about it and agree that it might work and said he finally understand why HX and the PM tried their hardest to separated the two of them. ZJ slap FL’s head and told him to stop talking nonsense. FL said he didn’t mean anything bad. He just mean with the two of them combine there is no one in the world who can stop them. PT announced that they will proceed with the plan right away.

Part 4: HX is dreaming about YT princess. In his dream,YT is telling him that how can a wife let her husband drink a poison wine. YT hold out a cup of wine and said this is the cup with poison and asked him where is her queen’s crown. HX woke up in cold sweat while screaming after YT to stop drinking the poison wine. DZ runs in and asked HX what is wrong. HX told DZ that he is fine and asked DZ to leave. DZ hesitate for a second and told HX that last night general Chu has been killed. The general’s head has been slit in his tent and is hanging on a pole. HX asked if they found the culprit yet. DZ told him no but general Chu is not a weakling and he think CBJ is behind it. HX thought about it and decided that CBJ is not the one behind it. General Chu is still a small general and CBJ has no reason to go after him. HX think it is someone within Balian. DZ recalled that general chu is someone that HX wants to promote within the rank and a lot of old generals are upset by how quickly general Chu has been climbing within the rank. HX asked DZ who would gain the most from general Chu’s death and DZ thought of Qi tian general. HX agrees and order DZ to tell general Qi Tian to get to the bottom of this. If general Qi Tian can’t find the truth in 3 days, HX wants him to bring his head to see him. Meanwhile, PT is waiting for BJ. Upon seeing BJ and them, PT shows BJ the medicine she made. It has no smell and no coloring and all she needs to do is make more and they will be set. PT asked BJ how did things go on his side. BJ told PT that they sneak in and all he used was a small knife to kill the general. He was able to kill the enemy before he even have time to react. BJ jokes that in the future he can always become an assassin if he is at end of his line. PT told BJ that she knows he is not used to doing things like this. If they have enough manpower then BJ would much rather fight it out in the open. BJ assures PT that in war time there is nothing shameful about assassin mission. The next day, FL is cleaning his weapon when ZJ knocks on the door. ZJ asked FL if he ate already. FL told ZJ that he already ate. ZJ decided that she will give the food to someone else. FL quickly grab the food and start eating. FL comments that since ZJ meet father in law (ZJ’s master) she has been really good lately. ZJ smiled and said then she will always be this good and told FL to keep eating. ZJ continues that her master said she should think about the big picture and stop interfering FL from getting important things done. ZJ told FL that she is going to leave him alone so he can get things done. FL got up and tried to stop ZJ from leaving. Suddenly, FL starts to get really itchy. ZJ pretends to be concern and check on FL. There is no rash and she can’t find anything wrong from FL’s pulse. With a big smile, ZJ said PT is really something. FL asked ZJ how dare she used him to test the medicine. ZJ told FL so what if she used him to test the medicine. She asked him how come he told her master that they already slept together. FL smiled and told ZJ that she has every right to used him to test the medicine. FL suggested that they make the rumor truth and ZJ got upset and start hitting him. FL asked ZJ how long is the itching going to last. ZJ smiled and said the effect is based on each person. It could be long and it could be short. ZJ told FL that she knows all about medicine and even she is confused by all the herbs that goes into making this. ZJ continues that good thing PT knows about everything and even when she try to test the mixture with a silver needle she wasn’t able to detect anything. People who drink the medicine will act like FL, they will feel itchy everywhere and feel like no energy. ZJ smiled when she thinks about the enemy general being stump by the medicine. FL asked ZJ where is the cure and ZJ said there is no cure.

Part 5: FL pretend to go over the books when he pour the mixtures on the grain that are to be ship to different army. Meanwhile, HX order FZY to see him. FZY recalled one of his soldiers warning him to be careful and telling him that HX is asking about him. Fearful for his life, FZY drink the wine that HX give him. FZY told him that to full fill his ambition the princess need to die. FZY told HX that he needs to stop being sad over the princess’s death. HX recalled FZY telling him that the princess need to die. HX throw his trusted sword at FZY and told him that he is giving it to him. FZY quickly ride away on his horse. On the other side, FL arrived and report to CBJ that everything is going according to plan. News of troops being sick have been traveling around and the doctors can’t figure out what is wrong. FL continues that general Qi Tian is going to be in trouble bc none of his soldiers have the energy to fight. CBJ nodded and said general Chu’s death already caused HX to be suspicous toward general Qi Tian. Right now, HX is going to be more guarded toward general Qi Tian bc he can’t give HX a good reason why his troops are lacking the energy to fight. FL told PT that her medicine is great. All it took was tiny splatter on the grain to get the job done. PT told CBJ that it is about time that they meet up with general Qi Tian. FL suggest that he tag alone bc he is familiar with the location. ZJ asked FL if he really have to go. FL said he has to go and his hands are getting itchy. (meaning he is dying to get some action). ZJ told FL that her heart has been beating all day and she is worry. FL told her that it is a bad sign and asked if she needs him to check it out. The two runs off. PT told BJ that HX is cunning and he is bound to notice something is going on in this town. They are running out of time. They need to get general Qi Tian’s troops on their side and recruit new troops from the outside. PT continues that they will carry out their original plan. She will stay in Qin Ro to lure HX’s attack. CBJ will attack from the back. In shock, BJ told PT that in their original plan, PT wasn’t suppose to stay in Qin Ro. Qin Ro was suppose to be an empty town. PT told BJ that it was always part of her plan to stay behind in Qin Ro. PT continues that HX is very cautious and if he noticed that she is not inside Qin Ro then there is no way he will fall into their trap. Currently, they don’t have enough manpower to go against HX on a one on one battle. BJ told PT that she promises she will follow him. If she is not leaving then he refuses to leave her alone. PT told BJ that they can only win this battle. They can’t afford to lose. If they lose, not only will Qin Ro be a bloody battle ground, the whole world will suffer under HX’s leadership. People everywhere will suffered and even if they managed to survive, their kids and future generations will suffered. PT assures BJ that Qin Ro won’t be an empty town. She will keep five thousand soldiers behind to help guard the place. PT asked BJ to trust her and that it will be the last time. BJ told PT that this will be the last time and asked her to promises him that she will stay alive and wait for his return.
