That is a unique and beautiful concept. We need to be happy on our own first before we can bring happiness to others, otherwise, we would just hang onto them like a life jacket and they would see us as a useless dead weight/baggage until we rediscover our purpose once again. So many women do this, once we find a man, we loose our luster and self in the process.

I love this movie! Never get tired of rewatching it. It helped me realize how I also let my dream of painting go over someone. I dedicated my time to him and acted as the world revolved around him. I’m still in the process of finding myself and making more time for important matters. Remember that you come first before anyone!!

The metaphor of how when her mind is 17, the colors are sunnier and more saturated. And when she's 28 the shades are back to duller, more realistic portrayal of the world. I think the sunnier shade shows how bright and unlimited her world can be on her perspective

I love how the movie being open ended. Everyone of us can choose who'll she'll choose, either yan or mao, but most importantly she can always choose NOT TO CHOOSE either of the two man. A woman needs to love herself first, no need for a man to complete her. Love this movie so much!

I am crying because this movie made me realized how i have lost myself along the way. I thought my pursuit of happiness will actually make me happy but i was so preoccupied of chasing after them that it made me forget to enjoy and see beauty of each moments. I made a bold decision 14 years ago which i think was the best decision i made in my life and until now i think it still is. But what happens after that are choices made out of fear. As years goes by the stake become higher and made me fear most of losing then suddenly i found myself clinching and holding unto what was little left. I wish i can get a reset but all i can do is to move forward but more confused as ever on how to make another step forward again. But all i can think of are the things i have not done and felt that i might not get that another chance again.

The sad part is sometimes its too late to go back and you just find yourself to just continue in pushing forward. But the tragic part of that are the regrets brought upon by our what if's from the supposed choices we should have taken but never did.

This movie had some good moral points in it we as women sometimes put too much into a relationship that's destined to be doomed but we still hope for it too turn around sometimes letting go is the best solution ever. Freeing yourself and replenishing your soul energy can be so satisfying.

Appreciate the best version of someone, sometimes we tend to forgot what we were fighting for, at the first place. We thought we work hard for one love. But we over greed it for extra paycheck. Long short story ended up to prioritizing money compare to the main goal which to cheerish our love one. Take what you need only , enough portion, then go back.

It's kinda sad that he was only able to appreciate her after she stepped out of his shadow. imo. You should be able to appreciate her for the devotion she's had for you. Self-actualization should be something you strive for. But it shouldn't be a pre-requisite for self-worth and whether or not someone can love you.

Thanks for sharing this movie!!! It reminds us all on what we've been missing in our life. The young and old souls must go along together caz they give you the courage and charm to overcome so-called "LIFE". I find this movie 1,000% relatable.

This is amazing! It made me realize a lot of things. We often go for the things that consumes us that we often forget the cheerful and innocent us. This movie reminds us the pure and fresh youth that always with us but we often doesn't notice. Kudos! Thank you Little and Big Liang. You will be always in my ❤️

Love this movie, came bc Wallace Huo, everything he does is magic and good. I really liked the open ending, I prefer that she didn´t choose any of them (Yan or Mao), she deservers better then this two.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. I cried because I always want to go back to my old self. This reminds me that my old self is still always there for me. I just need to take time to listen to the voice within me.. Such a great movie.. Inspires me a lot... :) :)

I like that I did not know whether she accepted Mao in the end. Moral lesson of this movie, loving is okay. It makes us grow, but don't love to the point of loving someone more than yourself. You cannot share what you don't have afterall.

Ni Ni looks like Nana, Shu Qi and Chungha. She's so beautiful. And I loved it when Mao conducted that oblation run. 🤣🤣🤣 Anyway, this movie made me cry a river. Hit me right in the feels.

This movie has saved me big time. I was chasing my career goal so bad that I started to lose myself just like the fl. I cried a lot when watching it as I finally realised that my biggest life mission it not about achieving great career success or anything’s but it’s about respecting and loving my own soul. Everything else will come to place at the right time but always protect and treasure who you are.

We are sometimes overshadowed by the love we have for someone that lead us to lose our interest in pursuing the things we are really fond to do. Worst, we chose to leave our dreams behind. This movie reminds me that we should love without losing our identity

It really reminded me of myself when I was 17. I was so brave and excited for everything but at that age I started facing life and it's difficulties. I wanted to explore and achieve my dreams. Now I'm 22, I don't know if my 17 year old me will think I'm a disappointment or not. I guess my 17 year old me would never want to grow up ever again or be excited for the future. Being heartbroken, seeing the world for what it really is, working two jobs just two make a living after getting a university degree, having health issues and not achieving my dreams in karate and judo..... To be honest, I don't know how my 17 year old will act but what I do know is that we have to be thankful for every blessing and encourage ourselves to keep going and be brave. ❤️
