The little skirt is adorable. If you can buy it for $10, I think you definitely should. Regarding jeans and trousers, I don’t wash them every time. I use panty liners so I wash them after every 6th or 7th wear. With skirts, it’d be even less often. I wash t-shirts and anything that touches my armpits directly after every wear. I use a short, cool cycle. Hope that’s not TMI.

Heck, I have even asked stores for a price adjustment when something I just bought gets marked down 40% the next day. I feel they definitely could have told me. I love the City Chic pieces. FYI- " always check theirs and Macy's prices first." 😉 There's usually a sale going on. *** Also, many stores are carrying well- known brands. I am seeing both City Chic & Eloquii on Macy's, Walmart and Jessica London's sites.🤷🏽‍♀️ Go figure!"

I loved the little faux suede "shacket"? Shirt? It drives me nutty that they refuse to put closures on the fronts of things anymore! I love ruffly tops but feel like I wish they 'd put button or tie closures on them! I think I'd definitely get that skirt if you can get it for $10. It looked so cute with that yellow top, for an office look, even!

This was a very cute box. I totally agree with you on the price variations being a little absurd. I understand Dia and co must generate a profit and take into account the styling service. It, however, gives customers a feeling of almost feeling cheated when sent highly discounted items, while still charging near retail price. I wonder if these companies partner together with these brands to get their clearance items for a discounted rate. I loved the skirt and dress on you. My favorite item, however, was definitely the blue top.

I learned years ago not to wash jeans after every wear. I haven't counted how long I go between laundry sessions, but I definitely get multiple wears out of each washing. Fashion nova jeans work best for my body, and I've been able to wear the same 2 pairs for years now.

Regarding washing jeans. I wash mine after at least every three wears unless they are really dirty.

I read somewhere where it was recommended to keep your jeans in the freezer and do not wash after every wear, haven't tried it but if the temps keep going up it may become the norm for me, lol. The black dress is very cute, a cami would be great under it. Oh my the yellow dress is lovely and very flattering on. The skirt and goldenrod with the jacket is very styling.. one amazing pieces in that box.

It is to the point where Target, Walmart, Wayfair, Kohls, and Amazon are all selling the same third-party items. It is frustrating. I think less of Target for doing this.

You’ve got to realize all these subscriptions box companies are marking up the prices because they are supposed to be providing a styling service to their customers and paying the additional help to do so. However, I prefer to search for things on my own. I have to gibe it to the sub box co. Because I wouldn’t have known how certain brands fit because most local stores don’t Cary them in store, only online. To me these boxes sell stuff that is going on clearance or no longer being carried in the store. That’s why you can’t always exchange for another size.

I have noticed that Walmart is saling 3rd party items online. Thanks for giving us other places that have the items cheaper. I do try to look up items to see if I can find them cheaper. Loved the blue top on you. The yellow print dresses was very cute on you. I would get the little $10 print skirt. Our AC is working hard here. Three days no power is no fun. I may wear something 3 to 5 times. If it gets dirty or sweating where wearing. I toss it in the washer.

Totally agree with the Dia pricing. I got a jacket in one of my boxes that I totally loved priced at $69, but found it on final sale at Nordstrom Rack online for 17.98… I didn’t want to insult Dia by price matching that low. I’m sure they would price match something reasonable. So I definitely look it up before purchasing. I also agree that it is bad for the wholesaler to undercut the pricing of their retailer. If it is happening that consistently then Dia should be informed and maybe drop them as a brand they carry. You should try the Kut from the Kloth Natalie or Quincy high rise bootcut jean that is a 33” rise… it was too long for my 5’7” height but would probably work for you. The fit was amazing but alas you can’t really hem a bootcut more than an inch or so.

The jeans instructions are correct, you aren't supposed to wash denim as much as other clothing. A great tip is to stick your worn jeans in the freezer for a few hours to refresh between wash dates.

I have to share with you a size and fit story with you. Ordered this cute dress from Walmart. Pink and lavender print with a ruffle cap sleeve. I pop it over my head and pull dress down. What was supposed to be an elastic waste is now an elastic empire waste. I am large busted, but this is ridiculous. I wish you could have seen it. We could have laughed together.

If city chic is clearance pricing items it’s previously sold to others, can you still get the size you want? I ask, because whenever I try to purchase something for the kind of markdown like that it’s only in a size 0 or extra small.

The first outfit was great! They need to stop sending yellow pieces! It washes you out. Pale colors don’t work w your fair skin and blonde hair. Blues, greens, reds, and black look fantastic on you. Especially the burgundy shade.

I wash after every wear. I was kind of shocked to learn that most women wear each bra multiple times before washing. Very gross. Now the exception to this rule would be if you lived where there was a major water shortage or you were out camping and not offending others lol.
