What to do if you are seeing the woman after 28weeks with risk factors of GDM?

Ideally with the risk factors we do OGTT at 24- 28 weeks as recommended by NICE guidelines , but if a patient presents after 28 weeks for antental care we can do this test at her that visit as well in order to confirm GDM and to help her prevent her from antenatal , intrapartum and postnatal complications associated with Diabetes.
