I hate farming but I hate that as a single player I’m penalized by 4x even more.

If helltide had the Same mob amout like in the season maps. It would be way more fun and rewarding

Here's an idea if Blizzard devs are listening, Most of us at end game don't need Obols for anything as we already have most of the gear besides the uniques from bosses, Give us an option to spend built up obols for Varshan mats. Helltides aren't bad to get the steel now, But the whispers are so slow I always have too many of one and not enough of the other to balance it out.

One extra thing i'd like to mention is that sometimes legion events can spawn in helltides, and when it happens is another very useful double farming strategy. The mobs from the legion event are gonna drop cinders (a lot) plus you farm xp and the blood for zir

In order for Diablo 4 to truly be called a live service game Blizzard "NEEDS" to do 2 things they need to put an in-game LFG into Diablo 4 so its easier to find a group to play with and the game needs to have a Build saving system so we can change builds instantly.

Absolute peak endgame content of any ARPG! To get the best items, just go do some trivial and boring crap all over and then let a hota barb oneshot the boss. Boom, there you go, chance for the best loot in the game. What a challenge, what a rush of adrenaline, what a satisfaction, what a deserved loot for the absolute best gamers in the world!

Grim Favours must be allowed to stack to 30-40 so you don't have to teleport and turn them back on every 10. So many little things in this game that are not thought over

To me I would think just increasing the drop rate of the aberrant cinders would make things better. And at least now Helltides occur way more often.

I started the game almost since launch and this is the reason I stopped playing: After defeating Uber Lilith and T100 NMD I only farmed hell tides and whispers, but the last week I noticed whispers didn’t gave me ANY hearts at all. I had like 20 of the other summoning parts for Varshan but no hearts, so eventually got bored. Don’t know if it was a bug or what but it was another proof this game sucks. Edit: I came back playing and this is still an issue, can’t get barely any hearts, and it’s the only mats you can’t craft at the alchemist.

As a casual player this is just stupid, why did they do this. The best gear drops from duriel and the farming for mats is just slow and boring. Just let us do it without mats, set a limit to like 10kills per day or something or nerf the drop rate a bit. We only have 3 months anyways on season. And it takes a few days/weeks to even get to max level as a casual. They really need to fix this. The end game is not fun and takes to mutch time. Not even worth to go for seasons as a casual player anymore.

They should make the Malignant monsters spawn rate 100% when you make it to 10 grim favors. I dont have problem with living steel but the varshan mats takes so long to collect.

im a solo player, run duriel alone, farm the stuff alone it already burns me out after 15 duriel runs not getting my unique helm or chest. and then Wudijo casually says "farm it on all my chars" jeez, I quit this season already again after 2 weeks playing and being level 100. Don't care about killing echo of Lillith, and did the rest. No rewards = no incentive to keep pushing.

The helltide zone you showed in the top left of the map he bottom portion of the helltide is incredibly dense ran one the other day on Druid and ended the helltide with 1700 cinders left after opening both living steel chests then ported to town logged out logged back in and carried them over for the next 2 helltides to open 4 more living steel chests

Blizzard: Game is catered to casual player, Also Blizzard: Puts in material grind to spawn Duriel that requires you to play like 50+ hours a week. Seriously though, quadruple the mat drops, and 1/2 half the required Eggs/Shards to spawn him. We're in a 3 month cycle, who the hell wants to farm Duriel mats and kill him 700+ times every three months? Also, want to even the playing field for solo play? 4x the drop rate for killing him by yourself.

PvP zones are a ghost town now on eternal realm. I go there constantly just to to get the tree whisper points and I rarely ever see anyone now days. First couple months of the game it was packed with players and I was so nervous running through the pvp area just to get the Lilith statues

In season2 players were duplicating boss materials and selling them on g2g. Depending on the seller you could buy 300 Duriel runs(600 eggs + 600 shards) for as little as £4.

And what about which reward too choose from the tree? Or it doesn't matter? Or only the chaos rewards?

If you’re efficient, you can get both steel chests and still have plenty of time to buy the armor chests that give you 1 steel per chest for 75 cinders

How much time do you spend looking at loot, looking for optimal stats and enchanting items? It seems like I am always farming Forgotten Souls! Are there times when you use gear that has useless stats on them, because of one stat that is so good?

Wrong label. The materials for Duriel are not living steel they are Shards of Agony and Mucus-Slick Eggs. Why not show how to farm those materials since that's your video label. 🤔

You didn't mention it, but on your map there was a legion event that was also a whisper inside the helltide. So what about them? prob worth I guess? Regular legion events inside helltide or outside of it are not that important I assume ? Having in mind "efficiency" ofc lol

If all have spare cash spend like 5 bucks on gtg for the mats you get a ton for cheap

Farming duriel mats and ubers is so boring that I wouldn't do it even with duped entries tbh... how the hell is such a time sink okay? I was already terminally bored and done by the time I killed Duriel 8 times and I even managed to drop Starless Skies on my third kill.

You never explained WHY we are doing the whispers, just how to do the whispers..So all the Duriel mats drop during whispers?

They need to make some changes. There should be a reasonable chance to get uber uniques in nightmare dungeons and especially 90-100. The changes to helltide makes it easier to farm living steel, but farming Varshan parts is slow and boring. And often the hears don't drop. You need 4 parts to summon Varshan and you often get 1 part from the tree of whispers chace. If you're unlucky you get 1 part in 30 minutes. But it's easier to get a uber unique than get a 925 magnum opus, hellhammer and overkill. And it's to long way to run to the beast in ice. I never do the beastin ice because it takes to long time to get to the boss room.

I'll do this just for tempest roar. Don't care about ubers

For me as a casual Gamer, remove Farming materials and put down the droprate for 0,X %… But these stupid Farming is just annoying….

You know, you can just use your mount to speed through the areas and kill enemies. Mounting and dismounting is fast unless you get knocked off.

the hell tides that have three zones, the living steel chest doesn't show up on the map when i get to the third zone. does this happen for anyone else?

FWIW I've never seen anyone in the pvp zone on hardcore playing with crossplay off. I've collected about 250k blood shards.

Wait, what? Eggs for Duriel drop from seasonal Whisper activities? All I've ever gotten out of them are Varshan mats.

Best way to farm duriel mats is to buy them. Not for real money but for forum gold on jsp. Easy to make FG there selling items etc.

Hearts are unobtainable currently for me been farming for weeks nothing to show made 15 runs with hearts I had b 4 I was strong haven't made a run in over a day can't get hearts

It's a shame that the integrity of the leaderboards will be compromised this season because of all the duping. I'll never farm enough Duriel materials to compete with all the dupers. Also content creators that have their community feed them infinite materials will have an unfair advantage too. Wish we had an SSF mode. D3 added it over a season ago. Why is the D4 team so slow to add features that are so obviously necessary?

With all the respect. I rather spent 5$ on 500 of each eggs then god knows how many hours to do this activity over and over again. It's not that much about my laziness, more about how boring it gets. Helltides are boring, doing whispers over and over again as well. Anybody knows when trade will bhe reenabled?

The main issue that these devs fail to understand because it's clear they do not play their own game is that faming this crap is busy work and not fun at all. The price of admission to even have a change to fight some of these bosses is way too high. Also why there is a reason to farm some weird mats to fight a boss? Clearly Blizz does not understand what fun is.

The fact that you have to farm 4 different mats to fight varshan and there is no mechanic in place to guarantee you get the mat you're lowest in numbers for is stupid.

They need to increase the drop rate for uber uniques in nightmare dungeons and especially tier 90-100. Farming helltide and whispers are boring and you get no loot worth picking up when you are doing it. That's makes it even more boring. And Varshan mats is so slow to farm. If you're killing monster, elites and bosses that are 1-54 levels higher that Duriel you have almost 0 chance to get a uber unique. That is wrong.

I wish they would just remove the mats requirement…. We already had to farm the mats and run Duriel hundreds of times last season. We already have the damn Ubers

Do all this for a 2% chance that it will actually be worth it? Who is coming up with these ideas and thinks this is what people consider "fun"? Getting the mats isnt hard, but finding the will to do it is the real challenge. Games shouldn't feel like a chore.

Launched season 3. Played for like 3 hours (was really trying to give it a chance), log out, and back to Last Epoch. Boring AF to be honest, as someone who has maxed out season 0,1,2 characters.. Probably their last chance to save themselves on season 4 with idiotic codex and itemization being "fixed". We'll see.

they should remove world tier 1 and add a world tier 5 this would greatly improve the game. World tier 1 is beyond stupid. everyone starts at world tier 2 someone ask this next campfire talk
