Tip from personal experience: Follow Wudi’s setup is much better experience compared to the one on Maxroll. Balanced and smoother to play.

I think this is generally because, at least with endgame builds, Maxroll is assuming you can get gear with ideal roles and tempers. For example, Wudi generally recommends the Accursed touch aspect for Heartseeker Rogues as the ability to reliably apply Vulnerable is critical to making that build work. But the maxroll varient will have you use some other damage buffing aspect because it assumes you can get a really high lucky hit chance to inflict vulnerable on one of your rings. If you don't have a good roll on your rings, the build kind of falls apart against bosses and tankier elites, because you can't drop them in the two seconds before exploit falls off. The accursed tough may cost you a little damage buff, but it prevents your build from failing if you can't get to rare result on a a ring.

@@v2micca For leveling it is better to have accursed touch, but it may cost you not so little, elements is 30% or 15% average. The inner calm 15% average as well. That one roll of lucky to make vulnerable is good to have. Doesnt have to be extreme, it will go higher as you masterwork.

maxroll have very based builds , like not good or bad just casual friendly. They produced 0 OP builds in last epoch and diablo4

Does the extra rapidfire-shots from tempering hit as hard as the normal hits? Too me it seems like it's just shooting piss poor arrows... The first batch of arrows hits and takes mobs to 50%, the extra, takes another 10%.

Thank you, Wudi, for this guide! I was finally able to clear Pit 100+ and kill Uber Durael and Andariel on the first try (I haven't attempted Lilith yet). However, I made some changes that might be interesting to someone: Instead of shadow step, I kept Shadow Imbuement and its passives, movement speed passives sacrificed as well. I think I can afford it on softcore. These changes help with resource regen and bad rolls of +Imbuement cast :) Shadow Imbue + Rapid Fire clears the whole screen on Pit 100. No dependency on Cold Imbuement cooldown on bosses, I just alternate between cold and shadow. With different paragon layout I have 7 boards: Start - Canny Eldritch (+) - Chip -- probably can replace it if needed. Exploit (+) - Ranger Deadly Ambush (+) - Control Tricks of trade (-) - Efficacy No witness (-) - Combat Cunning (+) - --

The thing is this. I'd love to try every build but when it comes to reset skill tree and paragon everytime I just can't. A fucking franchise like Diablo need to put loadouts ASAP. There is no way players will spend 10-20 minutes everytime just to switch between builds

You'd be surprised. Very easy to level up alts this season. Not ideal of course, but sitting around pouting isn't going to bring it faster. TLDR, level an alt.

I leveled an alt in 24 ingame hours and i was being slow so unless you have 2 hours a day it wont take you long to lvl a char

Shouldn't have to level an alt of the same class to play a different build. This is not a hard technical thing to achieve. Pure laziness that this feature wasn't implemented at launch. With as deep as a paragon board, it doesn't even make sense they didn't offer curated builds for casuals. WoW implemented a decent system, they can literally copy paste and build off it. When you make a game, do you want people to get a full build experience or a manually half built casual experience? How many less people would have been frustrated at Uber Lilith if they'd taken the time to address this before. A casual doesn't have time to play alot obviously so expecting them to spend all that time in menus is just stupidity

I Always have a few rogues every season, with different builds :D But since we just have 12 Charakter slots, I would prefer loadouts a lot.

You going to do a pen shot pit push build? The max roll and me doesn’t seem very optimized and I can’t seem to find a high level one. Right now have my own variant with the puncture recourse bug to get quicker combo points but I know it can be done better haha

Servus, this seems very similar to barrage. Is it really stronger? I just reached lvl 100 and Master worked everything too lvl 6. Should I switch build? I'm have the unique ring

Barrage has extremely low lucky hit. It will not trigger andariel very often.

If you value moonrise that much, wouldn't it be better to just use condemnation with a GA basic attack speed? It seems like you lose out on stats, on the order of 10% damage and some life, but get back the basic attack speed, and the 40% multiplier. Also improve puncture time a little bit more for the faster attack of the dagger. Could also keep moonrise and ditch rapid instead.

the browser extension "global speed" allows you to play finetune playback speed ... for example at 0,9 or 1,1 really useful :)

Was using RF to start the season and the way it plays just is not very fun at all. It's damage potential is crazy but I'd rather play something fun > crazy damage.

But then aren’t you missing out on a lot of Frozen damage from Frigid Finesse? If you like Poison Imbue, you might want to look into Twisting Blades instead honestly And then there’s also Andariel’s build with Puncture for high-tier Pit clears

I really hate the new scoudrels kiss. Hate how it makes it an arc, its a nerf in some sense because if an enemy is running at you, sometimes it just misses and for console users where you cant aim and skill shot this, its a big problem. The other issue is that in narrow doorways, the shots will just hit the top of the doorway and just flat out miss. They need to scrap the arc mechanic entirely and just make it an explosion on impact.

I think they are comparable. I run Lucky's build except because I am not that skilled at moving, I put might back on instead of elements and moved Umbrous back to my amulet so I can get more dark shrouds. So I would look at both builds and pick what you like based on your playstyle. Since I'm an old guy with low skill learning how to shoot the arcs has been a higher learning curve than shooting something straight, LOL. But there are advantages, as you can shoot over things sometimes, which is fun.

@@Vamatt99218well then this is a decent build. I can solo 90 pits with it, sure I die every so often but usually only once per run. I am by no means skilled, the younger guy in our clan with lesser gear than I can do much higher pits. Still with this build you can move slower instead of bouncing around like some of the builds. And of course killing the bosses is quite easy once you get them to stagger.

Crossbow over Bow? I always felt like the vulnerable damage on weapon would be better than damage against distant enemies but maxroll build lists a bow

My thoughts about this are that in certain point the percentages from Xbow becomes irrelevant cuz you have enough vul damage, with bow yours skills animation became more faster and makes the gameplay more smoother. But that’s just my opinion, feel free to test and try by yourself and enjoy the process!

U don't choose bow or crossbow because of the weapon skill damage increase. U choose it in relation to the boost the weapon mastery passive gives.

Rogue is the class you play to have fun, you actually need to play the game for most of the builds (heartseeker not included since you just need to press the basic skill button lol)

@@stormbreaker7_ but fun is subjective.. some people having fun on easy mode.. some people have on variety play and some people having fun only try 1 build each class ..so you wrong and also not wrong though.. for casual rogue better heartseeker in my opinion.. semi casual barrage .. and most fun build I try for rogue this season is flurry although I mostly having trouble on bosses.. xD

@@anuxiCK you could say fun is subjective and you’re not wrong, but in a different perspective having fun = playing the game = rogue is the class. Most classes just spam basic skill and you can consider it’s not playing the game. I’m not a big fan of the season 4 builds being all basic skills, Blizzard will have to address the power balance for basic/core skill in season 5 to make it more balanced and more diverse in build variety. But if your concept of fun is just to adquire better gear or being the best in the game, I’m just wrong.

Normally I love playing rogue but this season with caltrops being everywhere its just not fun for me. The skill is way too clunky to fit into a rogue playstyle imo. Hope they change it in some way.

Nima Blizzard, season 5 is too bullying Denuy. The only output damage storm is only 40%. Nima Blizzard doesn't like Denoy to delete Denuy's profession. Why torture us? The previous earth has been cut off. How can we play the season?

Showcase pit 140. Every trash build can clear 120 nowadays. For example, i made a classic poison twisting blades and cleared tier 128 with it. Average items

Its still very clunky to play on a controller unfortunately.... To be fair so is heartseeker to a certain degree, in higher pits where u do need to focus purple mobs or CCed elite that is about to go unstoppable

Not only that, but they still reward you for XP in high tier pits 😂 I can understand going around pit 30 when you're below level 100, but who the hell can run high pits yet still needs XP? Imagine if that was gold instead 😂

Combo points is probably the worst feature in Rogue. Wish it wasn't as strong as it is. But imbuement and other rogue skills are made for that horrible playstyle ;[.

That unique ring hasn't dropped once for me yet and i'm lvl 90!! I've target farmed it when i could, helltides,... nothing. I get all fucking drops in the world except this ring wich basicaly this build cant go without because it has no aoe without it. On top of that they nerfed the boly bolts elixer droprate to oblivion wich makes me run around doing absolutely NO aoe damage. This is by far the worst experience i've had so far in diablo. Prety much on the verge quitting the season because of this bitchass stupid ring that bugged to drop for me.

There can be differences between a Pit pushing and a Pit clearing build. There’s not much to be gained going past pit 101. He plays hardcore, do you mind showing your 119 hardcore pit clear?

Same experience. Playing on steam deck and without being able to aim precisely like with a mouse many times my burst damage falls miles behind the elite on a simple mob… it is kind of frustrating..
