At this point, it's no longer about skill, since everything will just one shot you regardless of how much hp and DR you stack. It's all about dmg and just becoming immune with flameshield uptime. Endgame pushing pit is now just about min maxing gear, and rng masterwork. I
could also push much further if I abuse vyrs mastery bug instead of using esu and ancient flame combo. Also if I had better GA items to do more dmg, and GA cdr would help push the build further.
I feel that I'm nearing completion of the season, all there is left is just min maxing, and hoping for better stuff.

Congratulations on Pit 104. My sorc turned into a Helltide farmer for a spark lol. Now I'm a full on Heartseeker, mostly because I loved guided arrow in D2. Appreciate your content and efforts. Still the best Sorc out here in the wild west... here's hoping for the much needed Sorc buffs this season.

Did you do any changes to the paragon or some aspectys etc, after the hotfix yesterday? vuln damage working again etc

hi Emily,thanks for this built😊.I tried immortal ancient flame to clearing pits level 70-80-solid damage power but i'm too squishy cause still had no perma FS,sometimes killed by one shot (not only by boss).I will try setup FO more DR-changed only glyphs in paragon (control out,add winter and destructive to another position and change some skill points if it right).Question -is any recommended numbers for minimum life,armor,resistance to survive and not to be killed by one shot?Thank you.

Would you say the Starless ring or Harlequin was better for your first Uber unique? I was thinking the Harlequin would be best but I'm seeing a lot of info on the ring being better for sorcs. Eventually I will want both.

Well shako gives +4 to all, which helps with flame shield duration survival ability, the dmg helps a little bit, resource and cdr is very good too. Starless definitely feels good, great damage and mana sustain. It’s hard to gauge which is better as both are needed for sorcs imo. I’d say go for starless. you can get, a regular Helmet with cdr with flame shield duration and should be able to hold you over until you get a shako.

It’s a shame they nerfed the winter glass. The Sorc just can’t ramp up the DPS to complete in the later stages of the pit.

Been testing this a bit, and its a good build. currently only have flameshield duration on pants. Working on getting new chest with it to. So iam getting some one shots still. But i have a problem with the skill tree,. cant wrap my head araound the last few points you are able to put in. Maybe you have 4 ranks to flameshield on the chest? (i have 3) and then you have 12 in flameshield, and can take one point of there, for 12 in total?

This build assumes you have immortal flame shield uptime, I do have a variation either more DR in case you aren’t able to maintain near full uptime. It’s in the tabs on the bottom left on max roll planner. You want max flame shield ranks, flame shield duration, And want it to be 5seconds or so, then you want 45%cdr, 50% AS

@Emilyheartz987 cool thanks. Iam close to those numbers on duration and cdr. I still don't understand how you are able to have flame shield, teleport, and lightning spear to end points. I lack 2 talent points to be able to do that.

I guess I'm a little confused regarding esu's ferocity. I just googled a few thread from 3-4 months ago saying it's bugged and applies to all magic type. Is it still the case and why it's included in the build? Also I see you're going for +vulnerable damage instead of +dmg to close. Is it only because it allows more movement and not having to hug mobs? Isnt it slightly less damage though?

Ancient flame aspect gives a lot of attack speed, that’s the sole reason you are using esus ferocity. The passive of Esus ferocity is irrelevant, we’re just using it because we can still obtain attack speed via ancient flame aspect. Your second question about close vs vuln; honestly no clue. There’s been debate whether or not more vuln dmg scales multiple because of how vuln works, but the math is just not something I’m willing to spend time on myself. And apparently there’s issues with sorcs about vuln and damage. On the other hand, vuln always allows you to be ranged for a bit and still benefit from it, so good for just speedfarmin or open world. So either close or vuln is fine.

can you elaborate on what bug does vyrs mastery have? Also i seem to have about the same stats as you, but im unable to get 100% uptime on flameshield. I know that you can reset it with the help of ice blades, but it is not enough, unless im doing something wrong

The vyrs mastery: The tooltip reads that it should only apply to shock skills. The bug is that it actually works for ALL abilities. You need flame shield duration affixes and ranks, obtain at least 5seconds duration You need cooldown % at least 45% You need attack speed, at least close to 50% more is better.

Dude - I rolled sorc off rip. Loved her, forb was awesome, until pit. Got shako, still couldn’t pass 85 and felt like I was playing piano. Made a heart seeker rogue, just did a 104 flawless

Yeah feels bad, but I just like sorc regardless of meta. Hopefully they buff the class. The height of season 2 ball lightning was the best time ever.
