Diablo Hellfire - Secret Hidden Cow Quest

10 жыл бұрынView this video fullscreen to get correct annotations placements. To enable Hellfire's two secret quests, do the following:
find your Diablo Hellfire folder, open command.txt and paste the following line without the quotes 'cowquest;theoquest;'. This will unlock the Cow Quest and the Theo Quest.

There is a secret cow level, but if you talk about it, "..you will be called a liar. Void where prohibited" This was not the cow level quest, yet another diversion. You've probably found it though, seeing as how this was posted 3 years ago.

Thanks! :D I think I found my solution: I was looking through the unique items in the hell and there's a listed, "Bovine Armor" I'm guessing they made a variation on it and it's in the mod somewhere... Thus begins my quest!

? Maybe it’s because I have an older version, but I’ve seen the same quest. Instead of being given by a cow, it’s given by Lester the Farmer, next to Wirt. And yes, I do have the Hellfire the Dark expansion thingamajig. (I’m not a gamer I just like to play games :P)

The rumor started in Diablo 1, but it was later stated that it was fake. Then in Diablo 2, the devs added it as a joke, but they still made the level pretty good.

That is a pile of shit. 30 resist all is decent, light radius does nothing. -2 spell levels? Yuck. You can barely beat hell in diablo with the level 20 skill cap as it is.

It is technically a "hack" in that you modify a game file externally to unlock it. There's no way to unlock it by playing the game, Hellfire, itself. Same goes for its Bard and Barbarian classes. Never heard of level 17, though. Also, "Hellfire" is the name of Diablo's only official expansion, although developed by a 3rd party company instead of Blizzard North (who developed Diablo, Diablo II and Diablo II: Lord of Destruction).

Hellfire actually improved the game overall in a lot of little ways. Unless you enabled the hidden content - then things got stupid and unbalanced.
