Formerly a Mage seeking to understand the nature of reality, Elsauli discovered a small splinter of the Worldstone. In attempting to retrieve it, he pricked his finger, which was enough to end his life once. However, Elsauli arose as a Shardborne, and gave into the promises of clarity about the world from a chorus of voices beckoning him. He quickly took his place of power, becoming a dominant voice in the chorus of the Shardborne, and spreading his madness to others.
