I think it's so awesome that those guys at Firestone recognized Matt's videos online and show their support. Our Firestone in my area are a bunch of clowns and couldn't fix a stripped out wheel stud let alone diagnose anything mechanical. Awesome video.

I have had the same experience at firestone in BA.... full price as a dealer, but a bunch of clowns doing the work. Same can be said for Hibdon, buncha clowns. I'd maybe let them do my brakes if I felt like overpaying.... but if I were in Tulsa, if I had something I need help with, I'd probably call Matt instead.

You should check the valve seat mat the 4.7’s and the 57 hemi drop valve seats. He said the electrode out on the plug was missing. I would check with a board scope done in there too when you overheat the 47 and the 57 hemi they drop valve seats or on the hemi. I’ve even seen it just if you use the MDS too long and the cylinder temps are uneven and immediately shut the car off it also will drop. A valve seat.

It starts like any regular diag video, and ends with one of the most important messages our species should acknowledge. There's definitely enough business around for mechanics, so why hate? I'm starting to really feel motivated to start doing what you do man, but I'd have to put myself through 3 years of training I guess, and this isn't an easy decision at 40 with 2 small kids 😛 cheers!

Same with hvac doesn't hurt to ask questions with others
Yeah, maybe a head would save it, but God only knows what the lower end is like, and I'm sure pistons, rings and cyl walls aren't the best. Doesn't look worth even putting a used motor in

@justinadams1594 ай бұрын
To be honest with you those four sevens are just meant to overheat. You can keep changing the coolant and flushing the system but it’s just a bad engine design. It doesn’t cool very well but if anything get a double core radiator. I had a Dodge truck with one of those four point sevens in them. I went back to driving a Ford because I got tired of working on it. It just is a dodge thing with those engines they just overheat inevitably
@mph58964 ай бұрын
Don't overheat your engine. 4.7 does not like to be overheated. They drop valve seats when they overheat.
